Fall colors on a Winter Day in Summertime weather!

Ahhh…the joys of living in Florida!

We’ve had a beautiful winter so far with lots of opportunities to get outside.

So we’ll take another walk through Shalom Park today to see some Fall colors!

I laughed and said this looked like child abuse! This kid did not want to ‘perch’ in this maple tree!

So let’s keep walking!

Walking down this trail will take us under a beautiful tree with deep yellow leaves.

(maybe a butternut?)

Thanks for walking with me today! Have you had a chance to get outside this week?

I’m joining Thankful Thursdays

and Good Fences today!

Fall colors in winter, how fun! Yes, the weather here has been in the 60's so we have been out walking.

Diane, you walk in lovely places. I love the rich fall colors of the trees in this pretty place. What a funny photo of the child in the tree. I've learned no matter how one wants a photo of a child they want something different. We've had beautiful weather the last couple of days, so we've walked in the glorious sunshine each morning. Have a wonderful afternoon. ♥

The colors are lovely! The child may have been in actual pain from the looks of things.

Thanks for taking us on a beautiful walk! Not much outdoor walking going on here. After a freezing rain storm, the walking is dangerous, ice everywhere. Many in the province are experiencing their third day of a power outage. We were lucky to only lose power for 6 hours. I'd love a walk in sunny warms temps right now!

Diane, wow - that child does not look happy to be in the tree. Yikes! Love all the autumn colors!

There are joys in living anywhere, even in soggy windswept England. I must admit I envy your sunshine and all year warmth Diane.

The Fall colors are still showing its beauty around your neck of the woods, Diane. What lovely pictures of oranges and yellows, and that last gate picture is charming. Oh Yes, I get outside at least twice a day. Does the body good. :)

Have a peaceful weekend.

I get a kick out of people that have never lived in FL that think there is no change of seasons there. There is but it is just a lot more subtle than in the northern states. I hope you have a great weekend- xo Diana

Oh man I am "jealous" of your gorgeous weather. - Beautiful fall colors and a great looking fence.

WOW! That is an awesome Winter with all those beautiful colors and sunshine!! It is chilly up here...the wind has been crazy, making the milder (for this time of year) temps in the high 30's feel much, much colder. Perhaps, I'm just getting "old"...:)JP

beautiful pictures! Maybe a bitternut tree (hickory) instead of a butternut? It depends on what the nuts look like. The bitternut's look more like walnuts. Andrea

I really liked this walk with you == we don't have much Fall color at all in SW Florida. (I got my Autumn fix in Oregon of course since we were there until early December.) Love the iron fence in the last picture and just every bit of the wonderful rich colors.

I would think it is cruel to force anyone to do something like that to gratify your own selfish needs such as a photo! There are children that have more sense than some adults! It has been a really mild winter here too although today is cloudy and cool but yesterday was 65 and I hung clothes out on the line! So, I can't complain!
