How can it get any better than this? The Farmer’s Market!

Did you ever wake up and think you had a post scheduled and realize it’s not there? It’s still ‘all in your head’? haha! And of course it’s the day you need to get an early start.

So I’m on Plan B already today! But so far the day is proving a good one. I start every Thursday by driving over to the Farmer’s Market! I know I’ll find all kinds of wonderful fruits and veggies, all organic and incredibly fresh!

So how did it get better this week?

We have a new vendor that sells wonderful fresh baked bread!

And they have a loaf just for me…lots of whole grains and NO sugar! Thank you beautiful lady!

But what did I eat first? (I can only eat half so I have enough to share!)

Next I’ll slice the bread!

Lunch may be a little early today, come on over!

I’m joining Thankful Thursdays today!

Hello, Diane! Your fruits and bread look delicious. I have not tried an orange yet, we did buy some strawberries. I love blueberries too.
Happy Thursday, enjoy your day and weekend!

The bread looks delicious and I can almost taste it with butter on it. Yummy. We have a great farmers market in the city but rarely seem to get there, which is sad really. I'm hoping when my hubby retires we can do the 'every Saturday visit' to buy fresh food unless we get a fenced in garden to keep the deer out. I'm grateful for the local berry and apple growers we have near us though although only during the summer months. And we have a very nice bakery just a 7 minute drive away. :) Enjoy your bread and fresh produce. You are very fortunate to have fresh produce year round!

Nothing like a farmer's market. Such a great thing to be thankful for. I really miss our local Mennonite market in the winter. Thanks for linking up today and I hope to see you back again next week!

What fun! I know what you mean about plan b.
We were to go into the city for a healthcare appointment, but the threat of freezing rain made us put it off!

LOVE LOVE LOVE Farmer's Markets!!! And yummo on the bread! However I'm trying to avoid bread these days to lose weight, I can't wait until I can eat some again!

Oh gosh, it all looks wonderful to me. I'm looking forward to farmer's market season. So good to access fresh, organic food and also to support the local farmers. That bread looks fabulous.

Your bread looks to die for! I love breads but of course, cannot eat them. I have to eat gluten free and those breads are not nearly so tasty. I am glad that your day was going well. Blessings to you!
