I promised you the other photos from our hike at Blue Run Park last week.
We had walked up to a marshy area to see these Ibis
when a Great Egret came into view.
We’ve noticed that ‘everyone’ seems to be getting along well lately!
A few pics of them in the clam bed that they were sharing with the Limpkins (so to speak).
(hopefully you saw the Limpkins last Saturday)
We’ve seen so many beautiful birds this winter here in Florida!
(some a little camera shy!)
I’m joining Saturday’s critters HERE
and I’d Rather B Birdin’.

Hello, Diane! Great captures of the White Ibis and the Great Egret. They are all beautiful birds, I enjoy seeing them. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Enjoy your day and weekend!
Love your photos. Looking at the birds through the foliage felt like I was there. Great shots.
Really pretty photos!!
Gorgeous nature shots ~ what a lovely hike you had to share ~ thanks,
Wishing you a Happy Weekend ~ ^_^
Your photos are always so good. When my husband retires, I hope we can do more of those hikes and photo taking. I think the birds are more fun to watch in January than other months. The bayou I live on in the Panhandle has been overflowing this week with ducks and pelicans. Hundreds. So much fun to watch.
What a magical place! Your photos are wonderful!
Hello Diane!
Beautiful reflective post. Outside the window, winter, snow and frost.
It's a real pleasure to watch greenery and birds.
I am delighted with your wonderful photos.
Greetings from cold Poland.

Wow, diane these are fantastic photos of theIbis and Great Egret! Well worth the hike in those marshlands!
happy weekend!
Diane, your photos look so regal of the Ibis and the Great Egret. You have captured them in their habitat so beautifully. Have a lovely afternoon. ♥
Egrets are my favorites. I miss seeing them. Your pictures are stunning. xo Laura
One of the things I love about our little house on the pond is the nature we can see out the window.
These are so beautiful! How lucky for you to see them!AriadnefromGreece!
Those birds are definitely beautiful.
I love your photos. Especially the last two, where the plume looks like it is made of cream :)
Thanks for visiting me.
Have a Happy Weekend!
Peace :)
Beautiful birds! I have to tell you that when I first spotted your Ibis in the thumbprint photo in my favorites list, I thought it was snow and of course I thought of all the crops that would be ruined because of it. Snow in Florida could be terrible for the farmers and the people in the tourist business. Thank God it was these amazing birds instead :)
Have a lovely day.
Connie :)
Really beautiful ibis!
Oh....fabulous!! Love the ibis in a row AND the camera shy one too. Excellent photos all of 'em.
Yep, I remember the Limpkin from last week....still jealous!!
...sending along my thanks for your contribution for all the birders at I'd Rather B Birdin' this week. Very enjoyable.
I really enjoyed looking at those wonderful photos of the bird. Hope you have a nice weekend. :)
Lots a great critter shots.
Beautiful pictures Diane!
Love your pics. Thanks for sharing your hike pics with us.
Love the pictures of those beautiful birds!
Such Beautiful shots.....the Ibis are a different colour to their Aussie cousins which is interesting but I do love the elegant Egret! Thanks you also for the kind comment you left on my blog...Cath@Home
I can hardly wait to see the birds in our area. Last year at this time tornados were ripping through and we were concerned about the house we rent.
If the avocado tree is bearing lots again the turkey vultures will be inviting themselves to dinner, gosh they are not a pretty sight.
Hi Diana! OH, you got some beautiful snaps of the birds. I so miss seeing the shore birds! The first time I saw an Rosey Spoonbill flying over me, I thought it was a flamingo! I'm sure you're smiling all of the time. Thanks for popping in to see me.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Great pictures, as always! We have egrets that summer here in front of our house and it is always fun to see them come back in the spring. xo Diana
What a GREAT picture of the GREAT Egret! These are such pretty white birds. The Ibis and the Egret look similar, don't they? I am delighted every time with the bird pictures that you take, Diane.
Have a restful Sunday.

Hi, I was just visiting over at Debby's Cozy Blanket blog and decided to check out some of her friends blogs and there you were. Love the pictures! You must be a photographer is my guess. But you had me at chicken pot pie!

I loved the Ibis and The Great Egret. Such wonderful photographs! Glad everyone is willing to share the clams. :) Looked back to last week's post to see the Limpkins. How fortunate you and hubby were to see two of them!
Oh these are lovely, you've certainly seen and shared some wonderful photo's of the birds you see on your hikes.
Thank you.
All the best Jan
Hello, Diane! Great photos! We've enjoyed seeing the various kinds of birds when we travel to Florida! Much different than here in Minnesota. At one house we rented, we had egrets walking by our Lanai every day! Fun to see, though we didn't really know what they were at first and had to look them up! I'm having a Give-Away so hop on over and enter to WIN! Happy New Year!
Hi,
Great photos. I do keep looking for an alligator eye poking out. ;-)
3 hikes already!! WOW, great job! 2017 here we hike on!! :-)
Love, Carla

lovely shots :)
When you see one of those big birds, I bet you get a rush! I know that I would. One of these big birds flew into our yard when we lived in PA. We had developed a yard/garden with 42 different kinds of roses and many different flowers and bushes. It was a nature's paradise. We had a garden pond with goldfish. There were 8 large fish because we had wintered them inside. One day I looked out the glass doors and saw this HUGE white bird sitting on the garden shed. He flew from there to our garden pond. He gobbled up our fish. Every day he came back to see if we had replenished his food dish. We bought more at a quarter a piece. He ate them too. After that, we decided that he could find his own food. He was a beautiful bird and his wing span was huge. When his shadow came over the lawn, it was like a small plane coming in for a landing. Good memories! I love all your pictures of the Ibis and Egret. Thank you for sharing them.
Wonderful photos of beautiful birds! I Love seeing these large birds when I visit FL. Guess the eatin' must be good in that area! :)
The egrets look so regal and so exotic in your lush park, Diane. It's fun to "take a hike" with you!
both of them are great birds. Loved the photo with both species :)
Lovely shots,especially 2 and 3....thank you Diane...
Have a wonderful week!
Diane-these captures of the White Ibis and the Great Egret are beautiful! I enjoyed coming along on the virtual tour.
Oh fun, fun fun Diane...I love seeing these beautiful birds AND the big news...I am going to fly to Ft. Lauderdale in a couple of weeks to visit with my daughter. I shall be able to get some captures of many birds then too. Hugs to you dear one~

Do you ever get snow in your area? Probably not.😂 I think I'd miss winter but it sure looks lovely there.
