Did you think I meant, the Farmer's market? No they aren't there at this time of year either! They are 'in season' in December and January.
But imagine my surprise when I came across this beautiful tea cup at the old thrift store!
I had just found a pretty one the last time I went, so I put them both on the library table.
Of course I had to buy these cute little ducks....who can resist?
And these are some of the books I have on the table in our library right now.
The cover on this one is so beautiful.
Have you seen the new Beauty and the Beast movie that is out on DVD now? Oh, it is SO good!
This book was sweet...
and I loved the art inside.
I’m joining Thankful Thursdays.

Cute duckies and the books look like great choices. Happy Thursday, enjoy your day!
I seriously love that cup.
Diane, What a beautiful teacup and saucer. I love it. That book of poems and sonnets is a wonderful find. All your books are so nice. Hope you had fun at the thrift shop. I would love to go myself. Blessings to you, enjoy your day. xoxo, Susie
I don't know which was the better find--the cup or Beauty and the Beast. Both are great finds. I am trying to avoid the thrift stores, lately. And I would love to taste an orange fresh from the tree! Have a great day, Diane.
Love those two ducks
Oh my goodness. Love that cup and saucer. xo Laura

Such pretty teacups! I love little surprises like that! I haven't seen the movie but I would love too. Enjoy these last days of July! Hugs!
NICE finds! You have a really awesome library!
I LOVED Beauty and the BEast - we saw it the first day it came out on the IMAX screen. And then a few more times on regular movie screens after that. : - )
Do you get Netflix? You may want to add Muana to your "must watch" list.
It was just added.
Hugs. ♥
That cup is fabulous! I have another book by that illustrator. He's fabulous. Great finds.
That tea cup is so pretty! And all the way from England! A treasure for sure. I love your library table and I love the little green book you didn't mention, The Little Fellow! What an intriguing book.
The pretty tea cup is a wonderful thrift store find!
...Diane, life is more enjoyable when you surround yourself with pretty things that you like.
Well, what a lovely cheery teacup you found! I love having a cup of tea in the afternoon at three. Oranges on a teacup I think I have never seen one before...
Happy Hot Summer days...
Hugs, Roxy
Your cup/saucer are gorgeous! Nothing quite like a Florida orange! Thanks for linking up today!
Oh, you found a Beauty and the Beast book, great! When I first saw your title, I thought they were real Florida oranges hehehe. This tea cup is so pretty, Diane. I can see why you couldn't pass it up. And those duckies are too cute. : ) You always find the most charming things at the thrift stores.

What a unique and beautiful tea cup you found. I wonder how many were actually made? Great finds - the new Beauty and the Beast is lovely.
How pretty!! Now I want to find one just like it! I love the arrangement on your library table.
I love that tea cup and saucer and all your 'treasures'! The books are beautiful and I have heard that the new movie is really good.
Love the tea cup! I collect them, the older they are the better :-) Treasured books too... looks like a perfect place to sit and enjoy some tea. :-) Have a wonderful weekend!
Blessings,

Hi,
I love the cup. What a great find.
I have not seen the new Beauty and the Beast, but heard it is well done.
Carla
Great finds! Your Florida tea cup is so special . . . funny that it came from raining England all the way to sunny Florida :)
What a cute tea cup, Diane! Very fitting for a Florida afternoon tea! I haven't seen the new B&B movie yet but my daughter lent me her DVD. I'm hoping to this coming week. ♥
Love the Florida oranges tea cup and the vinatge books! You find the best things, Diane.
What a unique teacup! I enjoyed all the tea-related scenes in the Beauty and the Beast remake.
Is that a Himalayan Salt Lamp that I spotted in the corner of the library?
Great buys Diane ...
Those ducks look cute, I love them!
All the best Jan
What a lovely post - as always. I adore the Florida Oranges tea cup - I've stopped buying teacups unless they are extra special - I have some with pine cones - for Washington state - and forget-me-nots - for Alaska - violets for Wisconsin - guess I need to find some California poppies - then my set would be complete - we'd have a states tea party - of all the important states in our lives - oh maybe something from WV - maybe a cardinal. You always arrange things so prettily in your sweet home. Happy days ahead.
