Take TWO?

Who am I kidding? I had an idea to make postage stamps out of some of my photos and then make a mosaic out of those. But did I get it done in TWO tries? Maybe not! haha!

I love being creative and would like to be more artistic so I work and work at it! It doesn't come easily to me!

Any guesses as to what this mosaic is? *answer at the bottom

Are you artistic?

I’m joining Mosaic Monday HERE.

*It's two (photos) pages from a Navigation Atlas for Airplane pilots with an antique effect from Photoscape.

I am crafty...not necessarily creative. I have found if I do not know how to do something, I can google it and get the answer.

Well that was fun, Diane. I'd never thought about making my own postage stamps. What a great idea!

Well, I knew it was a map, but no idea it was from a Navigation Atlas. How cool! I love the top mosaic. So pretty. Have a good day!

Diane, At first I though the maps were of maybe all the parks and place you and your husband have hiked. :):) I do not have a clue as to how to make those mosaics. But I love yours. Please be safe, as I saw heavy rains are headed for central Florida. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

I think your mosaics are very artistic this week, I especially like the textures you've included in the first one.
I find I'm looking at youtube quite often nowadays when I want to learn a new scrap booking technique, there's so much info out there if only we look.
Happy MM, see you in September with even more artistic mosaics to share, I hope.

I'd say you're creative! Everyone is, in my opinion, and creativity takes on many forms. I like the navigation atlas photos - my husband used to pilot planes and I recognized the maps. Have a wonderful week, Diane!

Beautiful stamp mosaics, Diane! Remember when Vee had her note card parties? I created a set of stamp note cards. I do think I have been somewhat artistic pretty much as long as I can remember. When I was just a young girl, my sisters and would sit up in our room and draw movie stars from looking at photos in movie magazines. Connie Stevens was one of our favorites. Remember her? I thought of you this past weekend when I found some great vintage buys at a couple of thrift stores! Hugs!

Your pictures are beautiful. Love putting them into the mosaic.
I did think it something to do with aviation.

I'm not crafty but I do love to learn from others and I do like to play around with special effects on Picmonkey. The mosaic is lovely!

Diane, I always enjoy your photographs. The last one is intriguing. It reminds me of a map. I think I'm artistic. Not good enough to sell anything but I love to make cards & crochet things. ♥

Somethings I can do easily, other things (like paint, draw etc) do not come easily to me at all!!! I wish I was more artistic and I am working on it....My daughter got me a lettering/doodling workbook and journal and I have been practicing but it is not easy....my handwriting skills are not what they used to be! I think you are very creative! Do you draw or paint? Have a nice week Diane!

I guessed it was some kind of map. Interesting!

Diane - as part of my retirement journey, I want to try things that require me to be artistic - like water color - or pencil sketches. My daughter is artistic, so maybe she can pass it up to me!!! Thanks for the inspiration!

Thanks for sharing your mosaic. Practice helps so just stick with it. The map is very interesting with this texture added to it. Thanks for sharing and have a great week. Sylvia D.

You could have fooled me, what with all your dollies and their cute outfits. Pretty creative to me! Hope you've been having a good summer Diane. I haven't been around too much lately, and just wanted to stop by and say hi! Blessings, Deborah

I'm not artistic at all ... but we are in a lot of beautiful places and my camera makes art for me out of them! I would be delighted to put your postage stamps on my snail mail (but doubt the US PO would approve)..

how do you do the mosaics? Hope you're having a good week! We're sure getting lots of rain here, it rained so hard early this morning and many areas got five inches! Everything's growing like crazy!! The humidity dropped a little and we've been able to walk the past few nights, how bout y'all?
