We drove by several trailheads yesterday when we took a little day trip. (pics coming to a blog near you... soon!)
Red-headed Woodpecker
But it's still so nice to put my cap on and head to the Florida Trails near my house (3 miles away) for a 'quick' hike. (less than 2 hours!)
And there are always lots of birds up on the hill.
These two birds were trying to decide if this bug or berry was big enough for the both of them! lol
Black and white Warbler
And using our imagination...
It's supposed to be 75 degrees here today (Sunday)!
So that's where I'll be...the Florida trails!
I'm joining Angie for Mosaic Monday HERE .

The bluebird is so pretty. I hope the one I saw the past two springs in the front yard returns. I will be watching for him/her. It is going to be chilly here some this week, but looking ahead hopefully this will be the last of that.
that little bluebird sitting on a limb, proves the quote of Bluebird of Happiness. he looks happy and gives off happiness to us.
What a beauty that blue bird is. We don't see many bluebirds at my house. Girl, you amaze me with your hiking. I need to get back to doing some form of activity that keeps me moving. Lordy, it's kind of like cleaning the toilet you know...I just keep putting it off! But my daughters have been after me to get MOVING more. You inspire me. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
...thanks, I never saw one bluebird last year!
What a great capture of the bird interaction. And so nice to see you on that lovely and empty trail, which looks like it's paved.
You got some great shots of the birds!
There is my hiking friend...you look so pretty. And thanks for sharing blue birds...they are such happy little birds.
What fun to have so many trails to choose from.
Plenty of snow here in PA.!! I wish we had bluebirds here...so pretty. Great post. ♥
I am envious. I so enjoy your bird photos especially since we have a few months yet to wait for their return to our neck of the woods. Just now a couple of ravens are keeping us company but they are very good company and most welcome. ^^
Love the beautiful blue birds - I'd love to see them in person.
Beautiful birds. The Warbler looks like he took over the Woodpecker's job
Happy Monday Diane
Thanks for dropping by and linking up at Monday WRites

much love...
Florida trails are certainly lovely ones, Diane! You see so many wonderful birds and interesting sights on them. That did look like a woman standing in the grove--somewhat ghostly in appearance too. I loved the photo of you at the end of your post!
Great you could meet so many birds on your walk and sharing it with All Seasons! Yes, last weekend it was nicer weather (only Sunday!). Once those woodpeckers go to work they can be very loud (when living in the forest I could hear the pecking clearly from inside the house). Will it be a warm Spring, you think? Happy trails this week, Jesh
So many lovely birdies.
I do see the lady of the woods.
My, what great temps. Good for you.
Happy Trails!
how nice. Loved to see the mosaic with the bluebird. It is such a sweet one. :)
Wow... they are amazing. I couldn't decide between one of them to favorit. Thank you for sharing.
Happy MosaicMonday
Lovely photos. Still looking for lady in the woods.
Beautiful!! The weather was wonderful yesterday. It was a little breezy this morning on our walk around the community. It will be chilly for a few days, again. Have fun and a happy week!
Beautiful birds! I DO see the lady in the woods!
Diane, I loved seeing all your birds. Today I saw a dark eyed junco and threw some torn up bread out for them and the blue jays came and hauled the bread away. LOL Blessings to you, xoxo, be safe. love, Susie
75 degrees, perfect weather! We're finally getting winter chill. I'm happy about that since I don't really feel like going out to prune the trees. And, yup, I saw the lady in the woods. :-)
The bluebirds are so beautiful, a wonderful colour.
Your temperatures sound good.
Enjoy your hikes.
Happy February Wishes.
All the best Jan
I so miss our birdies!
You live in gorgeous territory, Diane. And so many pretty birds!
The bluebird are so pretty. I'm kind of jealous of your weather. It's snowing here today
Those bluebird photos are simply gorgeous!! And what a lovely Woodpecker! I never see them with so much red on their heads!!
Sitting here tonight listening to the winds howl as the snow falls, that sunshine and those Bluebirds. looks very inviting!...jp
Se ven todos tan preciosos, me encantaría pasear por ahí. Besos.
I always enjoy seeing birds and there are many to see in South Florida. Last week I saw some wood storks in a nearby swampy area with mangroves.
Beautiful birds... I love them all, esp. the bluebirds! And yes, I see the "Lady in the Forest". Perfect. Gonna be a bit chilly these next couple of days so bundle up.
Diane - I love your new header! I am so jealous that you have all these colorful birds around you right now, but at least I get to see them through you! Enjoy your pleasant weather and your hiking! Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday! (P.S. I had a hard time seeing the lady in the forest ...)
I **DO** see the lady!!! :-) ~Andrea xoxo

How nice to get out for those hikes and see such pretty birds. We got dumped with so much snow so I'm staying in and staying warm and cozy. Hope you are enjoying the week.

Ah - how lovely!
Yes, I see the lady in the forest! She looks calm and serene. Such a peaceful trail this is. I can see why you walk there often. I hope you are having delightful February days, my friend.
