No one wants to be inside when the weather is so beautiful here in Florida right now.
Eastern Bluebird
But Ron has been in the hospital again this week for blood transfusions and platelets.
He was not able to get the chemo again this week because his blood levels were too low.
Thanks to everyone for keeping him in your prayers and to all of you that have left sweet comments and reached out to me in emails. It sure makes me thankful for good friends.
No one wants to be in the hospital but our hospital here in Ocala is the best. We have been blessed with so many caring people there.
I don't feel like taking photos while I am there. BUT....you look out the windows in your room and see palm trees or the American Flag and that is welcome. And I found a place to park next to a retention pond and I see Great Blue Herons, Little Blues, Egrets, Ibis and all kinds of ducks and geese. So I always stand there a few minutes and see how many different birds I can spot.
This Common Sneezeweed is in full bloom now too and it is gorgeous!
Common Sneezeweed info HERE.
Thanks again for your prayers and encouraging words. For those that missed my last post, my husband has a very rare cancer....B cell lymphoma and he is very sick.
God Bless you, your blog buddy Diane

...Diane, I'm sorry to hear about Ron's cancer, I wish you both the best.
Continued prayers to Ron and you too and I hope you both have an uneventful weekend.
I am thinking those pretty yellow sneezy flowers might be here because I have been doing a lot of sneezing. Prayers for Ron, so sorry he had to have the blood transfusions.
Continuing to pray for Ron and you too.
Jus a little while ago there was a whole bunch of bluebirds out front and looked like they were in a war with sparrows!! They were cashing each other all around!!! Never saw anything like it.
When you posted a comment the other day on my blog, I truly had been walking my granddaughter and had you on my mind. I said a prayer for y'all. I have you in my prayer journal so I will make sure to pray several times a week.
We have much of that yellow flower on the roadsides here. I honestly think it screams fall in Florida.
Diane - I haven't been blogging much, and now I am making the rounds, only to see this update from you. Oh my dear - I am so sorry to hear this about Ron. I have added you both to my prayer list. For what it is worth, I have a friend who had the same diagnosis, and has made it through all the treatments to resume an active life - I hope that it will be the same for Ron!
Beautiful photos, Diane.
The photo of the Eastern Blue Thrush is truly stunning.
I wish you all the best and strength with your husband's illness.
Have a good weekend.
Greetings Irma
Continued prayers are coming your way. You and your husband are in my thoughts.
Diane, I woke this morning thinking of you two and that if I didn't see a post from you today I was going to email. You've most certainly been in thoughts and prayers. I'm grateful that you have found this peaceful spot to park where you can take a minute to regroup and savor the beautiful nature of the area after your visits. I hope the blood improves so they can begin the treatment very soon. Please take care of you, too. Your strength is important.
What a tough road for Ron and for you as you try to help him through this. Glad you can still notice the beauty surrounding you and bring it in to Ron to see, too. Remember too that laughter's the best medicine so find some funnies to share with him. I'll try to post some on my blog.
Hello Diane,
I am keeping you and your Ron in my prayers.

You and Ron are on the family prayer list.
We are keeping both R on and you in our prayers, Diane. I know it is hard--both my husband and I are cancer survivors and each day during the treatments was hard and worrisome. I am hoping that Ron will be able to get strong enough for chemo, Make sure to take care of yourself too! Keep hope!
Thank you for this update on Ron. You both are in my prayers for peace, wisdom, and health.
As for nature by the hospital, when my Tom was at WM hospital here in town, one day as I walked back to the car, I saw a tall white bird (Egret?) walking ON TOP OF A HEDGE. I had never seen that before and at first I wondered if his legs were extraordinarily long! But they would have had to be VERY long in this case. I watched him and finally realized his spindly feet were able to grasp the hedge branches and hold up perfectly upright. It was an interesting sight to me, still relatively new to Florida's birds at that time.
I hope that Ron gets his treatment soon. Prayers for you both Diane.
Being in nature can calm you, as you well know. I'm glad you see these lovely things from the windows. I pray for you and Ron. It's so good to have great medical care. hugs,
Heavenly Father, giver of life and health: Comfort and relieve your sick servant Ron, and give your power of healing to those who minister to his needs, that he may be strengthened in his weakness and have confidence in your loving care; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Sending a virtual hug your way and a prayer too! Experiencing nature is beneficial for you right now, even if it is for a few minutes. Having so many caring people in your corner is truly a blessing.
Diane,
I am so sorry to read about your husband's cancer diagnosis. I know how hard this must be for both of you. Please know that you are in my thoughts and I will be keeping you both in my prayers. So good that there is beauty to be found out the hospital windows. Hugs to you!!
Diane, I am praying asking God for healing for your dear hubby.
Beautiful photos.
Praying for speedy recovery 🙏
Hi Diane, so sorry to hear about Ron's cancer. Sending him healing thoughts for successful treatment. All the best.
I'm so sorry to read about your husband's cancer. I feel so sorry for you both. Beautiful photo of the Eastern Bluebird! Warm hugs!
Best wishes for your husband’s treatment and recovery. Cancer is a word none of us hope to hear; sadly many of us will. Bon courage - David
talk about a silver lining...if there could be one!! it's like the big birds are greeting you at the hospital, saying we will come to you today!! i have thought many times about your dear husband, being in the hospital is so difficult. for you, seeing him so vulnerable...going home to an empty house, it's all so challenging. i am sending you strength, it is what you will need, twice as much for him then he ever thought he would need.!! i hope you are taking care of you too, the strength you need comes from deep within. "Perhaps strength does not reside in having never been broken, but in the courage required to grow strong in the broken places". it is my favorite quote!! i am sending you warm hugs and lots of love!!!
Both of you take care, continued positive healing thoughts heading your way.
What a beautiful bird! Fresh air always is good.
Still thinking about you. Hugs, Irene
Hi Diane, Loved seeing the bluebird. I never see them here in this neighborhood, like I did in the country. My daughter and granddaughter just got home from Florida two days ago. They both needed a mini vacation. So Sierra celebrated her bday with her mom there. Take care of yourself and be safe. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
Beautiful photos and I am glad you have good medical treatment and hospitals and doctors. Continued prayers for you both....
Continuing to pray my dear friend. Lots of love and prayers headed your way to Florida from your Wisconsin friend.
Carla
All the best. Take care of yourself, as well.
I second what Jenn said, remember to take good care of you too. It must be so energetically draining for the both of you ♥ That sneezeweed is very pretty, I love the name!
prayers for both of you ...in the 1980's we went to ocala and rode in glass bottomed boats ..silver springs i believe beautiful area love and blessing from michelle .
My dear Diane, I am so sorry that I missed these last few posts. I am just now reading about your husband, and I am so very sorry to hear this news. You are both definitely now in my thoughts and prayers, praying for God's blessing of healing through His servants, the doctors and nurses who will be attending Ron. May God give them wisdom and compassion and much skill as they treat him, and may God give you peace of mind and strength for this new journey you are on. Sending (((HUGS))) and prayers. One day at a time. God is with you.
Deseando que mejore. Abrazos para los dos.
