We've had some nice Fall weather lately and this week I stood in my courtyard and took a few photos looking onto the golf course.
When we are fortunate to have time at home we spend some of it in the lanai.
And this is the view looking out at my neighbor's Yellow Poplar tree in all of it's fall glory!
It's been beautiful but my days are spent doing 'have to' things lately.
Our Camellia is blooming like crazy right now too!
And we've had little Warblers flitting around,
as well as our neighborhood Mockingbird!
But we've always loved living on the golf course and having such beautiful views.
We had one really long day at the cancer center this week and Ron was able to get a full chemo treatment...8 hours long! He's been weak and tired the rest of the week but we are hopeful the treatments will have good results. Thanks for your continued prayers and for your friendship! It sure makes a difference in my life. I so enjoy reading your blogs too and will comment when I can.
Have a beautiful weekend!
Lots of hugs, Diane

...Diane, I love your Camellia. A few years ago I bought the hardiest camellia that I could find, it lasted two years and then died! I send best wishes to you and Ron, you are in my thoughts.
So glad Ron was able to have the first treatment, draining for sure. Hoping he has the same results as a friend of mine who just got to right the bell after his last treatment (a tradition in our hospital here) and after waiting and then having the tests he was deemed cancer free. Lovely views from your lanai.
Fall sure looks pretty at your place. Continued prayers for you and your hubby from all of us.
Good to hear hubby was able to get his chemo ~ hoping it works for him ~ hard times ~ Your photos are delightful ~ especially the little warblers ~ gorgeous Autumn light ~ Sending lots of healing energy hugs to you ~ xo

I love when leaves create a colourful carpet on the ground! That's a beautiful view you have! Thank You for sharing the good news that Ron had a full chemo treatment and I hope the good news can continue! Best wishes!
Dearest Diane,
when there are so many “have to” things to take care of, it becomes even more important to savor the little beautiful moments in between — just as you do: looking out over the autumn-bright, sunny golf course, watching the birds… Every bit of joy gives strength, and you and your husband need plenty of that to get through this difficult time together. I’m glad he was able to receive a full chemo treatment. It’s no wonder he feels weak afterwards — my aunt always feels the same, but after some time she starts to feel better again.
I’m keeping you both in my thoughts!
All the best and lots of hugs,
Traude

It's impossible to feel my health issues matter when I look at what you and Ron are going through. I feel for you so much. It's a heavy load to bear, being with a special loved one so sick. You continue to be in our prayers, as you always will be. Your autumn is beautiful, as every season is in its own right. The cardinal photos reminded me of the many we have had in our garden. Love always, and a long hug!
Lovely pictures! Eight hours of treatment sounds exhausting. Best wishes to both of you!
