My sweet husband has been in the hospital all week but at least they were able to give him a cancer treatment there. (his first full treatment) We are still waiting to hear when he can have another one.
The weather has been gorgeous and I've been thankful for that. The hospital is not very far but it's very nice to have an easy drive.
Please continue to keep us in your prayers. I may sit down and write some comments today....God willing.
I miss you all but my days start early and I go to bed at night without even looking at the clock. I 'conk' out! lol
These are photos of the prettiest little Flycatcher that I took last Fall at Halpata Tastanaki Preserve.
And a wooly worm predicting the winter!
Take care of yourselves.
Sweet hugs, Diane

Keeping you all in my prayers for healing daily. Loved the sweet bird...and your wooly worm is unclear as to its winter forecast! Mixed up perhaps!

Hello, dear Diane! I'm back from our trip and am ending my blog break (even though it will probably be a while before I'm "fully back"). But what did I read here? Your husband is seriously ill? I scrolled until I came to your post with the article about marginal zone lymphoma - splenic subtype and read the linked article. Oh no, my dear - I'm so incredibly sorry that you both have to go through this difficult time! Was this lymphoma only recently discovered in your husband? While I was away? Please accept my hugs - and I'm sending you healing energy from here! I'm thinking of you both and I wish your husband the very best possible treatment outcome!
All my love and best wishes!!!

Good luck with the treatments!
Sending continued positive thoughts for your husband and you. Such lovely flycatcher photos.
Earlier this week we had a crowd of wooly worms that looked much like the one you've pictured. They had absolutely invaded one of my potted flowering plants and were heartily feasting on it. While Gary wanted to pick them off and then apply chemicals to the plant, I was so grossed out that I insisted he just discard the entire plant in the trash. Ugh! None of our other plants appear to have been attacked so I'm hoping that's the last we see of those creatures.
I am keeping you and Ron in my prayers. I know this is hard. Keep the faith. The Lord is with you both.
Keeping you in my prayers. Make sure to take care of yourself, Diane.
Glad to hear your husband got his full cancer treatment. I'll continue to keep him in my prayers. Glad you were able to get some time alone with God's creation too, Shalom!
Hello Diane, I've been thinking of you and Ron and saying a prayer that the cancer treatment goes well.
Always a joy to see your photographs.
My very good wishes.
All the best Jan
Lots of prayers from all of us too.
Love the photos of the flycatcher. They are so cute to watch as they sit and watch for the bugs and then they dart out and catch them so expertly! Amazing! I am sorry that Ron has had to be in the hospital all week, but with his first chemo treatment that may be the best place for him. Praying he is able to adjust to the treatments well, and I pray for you to have the strength you need to keep up with everything. May God be with you both.
Good to learn that his treatment has begun. Godspeed recovery.
The flycatcher and the worm photos are lovely.
Beautiful photos. We are keeping your husband and you in our prayers. Much love, Diane, and a warm hug.
Totally understandable that you would be exhausted at the end of the day. Continued prayers for you both.
Flycatchers are so fun to watch; the way they fly and hover in one place is amazing!
