Photos of Fall in Florida

I looked back at the past couple of years and I took a lot of photos that I didn't share so I have plenty to choose from.

Still no hike this week. We went to the cancer center on Thursday but Ron's blood levels were not good enough to have a cancer treatment so they have scheduled an appointment for next Tuesday. We hope and pray he will be able to have chemo to fight this cancer. As my friend Tom said...and other sweet blog friends, "Cancer is Cruel". We faced more challenges this week but I still want to blog and treat myself to some blog visits this weekend. I hope you are all well and I continue to pray for so many of you that are going through hard times too.

The Cardinals are especially pretty.

And this is Palafox and it only blooms for a short time at the end of summer.

It's rare to even get to see it!

I try to learn to ID plants here but it is a challenge!

Take care and thanks for the prayers and friendship. You are the BEST!

Love, Diane

Hi Diane. Gorgeous photos as always. I'm back to blogging for November. I was just doing a little catch up and I'm so sorry to hear about what your husband is going through. My thoughts and prayers are with you both.

Wonderful photos of the Cardinal!

I don't think I've ever seen Palafox - it looks related to a clover blossom. Hope your hubby continues to have positive spirits as he combats the cancer.

i am so happy that blogging brings you so much joy, it does for me as well. it is so important that you take care of "both of you"...sneak in a few moments for yourself, self care is so important. i have been in the hospital so many times, i will share a few things that the hubs and i did that helped to lift our spirits. we played card games, UNO, we did word puzzles together, he would read the clue and either of us could answer. he would read to me, bring in my computer, he brought in blog books and scrapbooks when i was in rehab and we would look at old pictures. he brought in a few items from home to decorate the room, a picture of us and one of my sons. i have adult coloring books and when he was not there i would color in my books using colored pencils.we talked about our future and what we were going to do. we also did date night...he would bring me a special dinner and we would have dinner together. for me....keeping my mind busy was key. your pictures are really special today, i don't know how you've kept them for so long. if you have an iphone, once you take and view a picture, there is circle on the screen, bottom, middle, with an "i" in it. if you tap on that it should identify the flower for you. it even identifies weeds!! pictures i have taken with my "good" camera...i take a picture of it on my computer screen and it should work that way as well. flowers, birds, ducks, insects, almost everything. i hope you understand that, maybe you know!! anyway,, thinking of you both, always...sending warm hugs from the jersey shore!!

Thank you for visiting my blog. You are going through a difficult time right now, and I'm very grateful for your visit. The flower is very beautiful. Yes, it's difficult to identify plants. Take care, and have a nice weekend!

I love cardinals, and sadly, we hardly ever see them here.
Continued prayers for Ron and also for you, as I know it is hard. My husband and I are both cancer survivors. It's not an easy time, and you also need to take care of yourself.

I'm glad you are visiting blogs and blogging when you can. It's a good escape. And isn't it fun to review old photos? I've been doing that myself (it can make for a good post when life has nothing to report.). As always, thinking of you both.
