"Tea Time"

The sun is shining today and it's warm....
time to spread the quilt on the ground,
kick off your shoes and
have a cup of tea!

My girlfriend gave me this little Marie Osmond doll for my birthday
and she will NOT keep her shoes on!

And when Penny and I went thrift store shopping this week
I found a table full of dollie dishes for $1.25 !!!
I pushed Penny aside (I'm bigger than her! )
and scooped them all up!

The dollie quilt was made by my talented cousin, Cindy!

My sister sent this little red crocheted heart this week
and this is one of the cutest cups of the lot!

Plain white....a classic!

Enjoy your day!
Take time for TEA!

At first I thought that was a real grown up person tea set. I have tea sets on the brain since I'm in Stephanie's Tea Swap, but I have to say, I have way more dolly tea sets than a I do big ones. Yours is very cute.
Does Marie need a bigger sized shoe? :-)

Love that tea set and it looks so pretty on the quilt your cousin made. How fun that you and Penny went shopping together. I paid her a visit and read all about it. Can't wait to see what you do with the birdcage :-)

How sweet! A wonderful find and you're quite good at knowing just how to snag the prize.

So many dollies have that flaw about their shoes. I think I should give mine some ballet slippers... that'll anchor them to their feet.

Have lots of fun at your tea party!

I tried all day to find out what time you were serving tea. (The emails kept bouncing back. Are you blocking me? hee hee)

It looks as if I missed tea time, but I have enjoyed seeing your wonderful tea service.

Marie Osmond suggests putting a "dot" of glue inside the shoes and gluing them to the doll's socks or feet. Personally, I worry that someone will report me to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Dolls if I do that.

Diane, I hope you find my post - didn't have your email - the loose apron is a Quik Sew and the little book I decoupaged I found at Michael's. I think it was a K and Co. design if this helps. If you can't find it, C&T Publishing has blank books and you can order them online. :-)
Diane too!
