The sun is shining today and it's warm....
time to spread the quilt on the ground,
kick off your shoes and
have a cup of tea!
My girlfriend gave me this little Marie Osmond doll for my birthday
and she will NOT keep her shoes on!
And when Penny and I went thrift store shopping this week
I found a table full of dollie dishes for $1.25 !!!
I pushed Penny aside (I'm bigger than her! )
and scooped them all up!
The dollie quilt was made by my talented cousin, Cindy!
My sister sent this little red crocheted heart this week
and this is one of the cutest cups of the lot!
Plain white....a classic!
Enjoy your day!

Love your new set of Dollie dishes. And they are so cheap! How I wish thrift stores in Japan is as cheaper as in your place. You are god in quilting. I am drooling to have a cup of tea with you now.LOl.
You are tooooo funny! I had so much fun when we went thrifting. Those were tooo small for me to break for my mosaics anyway :0))))

Did I miss tea time?! What a lovely find!
Ooooh, la-la-la-la-la
What an adorable dolly tea set --- and a beautiful Marie dolly --- and I love the quilt too! So sweet! Thank you so much for inviting me to your tea party!
Love

PS: May I invite others from my blog to yours?
What sweet tea time photos! The Marie doll is beautiful! I have one of her small dolls!

At first I thought that was a real grown up person tea set. I have tea sets on the brain since I'm in Stephanie's Tea Swap, but I have to say, I have way more dolly tea sets than a I do big ones. Yours is very cute.
Does Marie need a bigger sized shoe? :-)
Love that tea set and it looks so pretty on the quilt your cousin made. How fun that you and Penny went shopping together. I paid her a visit and read all about it. Can't wait to see what you do with the birdcage :-)
How sweet! A wonderful find and you're quite good at knowing just how to snag the prize.
So many dollies have that flaw about their shoes. I think I should give mine some ballet slippers... that'll anchor them to their feet.
Have lots of fun at your tea party!
Now..I wish I could go shopping with you and Penny too! I'll have tea with you anytime, Happy Sunday :D
I tried all day to find out what time you were serving tea. (The emails kept bouncing back. Are you blocking me? hee hee)
It looks as if I missed tea time, but I have enjoyed seeing your wonderful tea service.
Marie Osmond suggests putting a "dot" of glue inside the shoes and gluing them to the doll's socks or feet. Personally, I worry that someone will report me to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Dolls if I do that.

Cute! cute! Cute! I love little tea sets but mine are all packed away. Maybe I need to have a tea party too!
Diane, I hope you find my post - didn't have your email - the loose apron is a Quik Sew and the little book I decoupaged I found at Michael's. I think it was a K and Co. design if this helps. If you can't find it, C&T Publishing has blank books and you can order them online. :-)
Diane too!
Your doll is so giggly and adorable, but then so would I be with all those new pretty dishes ^-^!
Great find!
Holly xoxo
