It’s warm in the Lanai…let’s do a vintage photo shoot!

Wow! It got cold all the way down to Florida! I had to wear a coat today! It was in the 50s! lol So let’s go out to the lanai and take some pics!

DSCN9942

I got an early birthday package from my sister and she sent me these pretty shell boxes! I had 2 squares ones and she sent me 2 round ones!

DSCN9928

And I finally found one of the wicker bottles that I have admired at the Antique stores AND on everyone’s blogs! This one was 75 cents!

DSCN9933

I almost teared up! heehee!

DSCN9935

And won’t this sweet picture be cute in my doll room?

DSCN9936

It says “YOUNG IDEAS” Original by RMI Nursery Plastics, INC. 137 East 25th St., N.Y.D. on the back!  75 cents! Oh, I LOVE it!

And I know what my hubby will say when he sees these….’what in the world are you going to do with those?’ But they were so cute…and in their little holder, too!

DSCN9937

A splurge….$1.95 !

I’m linking to these fun parties!

I’m joining....Vintage Thingie Thursday

and Ivy and Elephants

and Thrifty Things Friday!

and Treasure Hunt Thursday!

and Thursday’s Favorite Things!

I’m linking to Honey’s Potpourri Party, too!

Thanks to everyone that has written to me about my computer crash! We did not lose anything! My hubby had just done a back up on the external hard drive so he said everything has been saved. Of course it is taking a lot of time to transfer it to my new computer. It’s a challenge! Have a Happy Day!

thanks for sharing photos of your treasure. I love getting cool unique treasure too. I recently picked up an old tablecloth (I love tablecloths that look vintage) and I also found a Santa jack in the box that I have to fix up a bit but the song it plays is beautiful ("Here Comes Santa Clause") and he pops out just fine. I also found an old wooden breadbox I need to paint when I have the time to do that.

Oh you big baby. Bundle up & head for Daytona :D lol just kidding. It's even been too cold for me and I'm hardcore. You always find the neatest things at the thrift stores in your area. I'm hoping to get to Webster at least once this winter.
Take good care <3

What an inviting lanai, Diane. I love all the wicker and seashells. :)

You could use your new splurge as coasters. They looked like coasters to me when I saw them.

Have a great rest of the week. So glad you didn't lose anything with the computer crash.

Hi! What awesome finds! I love the aluminum coaster set - I've never seen one in a holder. Your bottle is great, too! I collect them, I started over 20 years ago, but have not seen a new one in years! I guess they're a hot item now. :)
So glad you stopped by Revisionary life - thanks for your sweet comment. I'm glad to find you, too!

Love your lanai, looks so nice and warm. I have never been to any of the warmer states or seen the beach. Love the sea shells and the silver set of coasters are so neat. Wish I was some place warmer right now. All of my coworkers go on vacations to the beach every year and sometimes twice a year. My husband is ill and never was much for traveling and now he can't travel. He says vacations are dumb.
He says you take time off to get things done at home and that is all I get to do when I take a week off.
Oh well, a girl can dream I guess.

The last few days it has been high winds and in the 20's. At least today it felt like it was Spring with the temps in the 40's! I can't believe you found that demi-john for .75 cents! I have been looking for one while thrifting for 2 years now and haven't found one in decent shape or decent price! Thank you for joining TTF and have a wonderful weekend!
