I’m taking the weekend to have a little birthday fun!
Who knows where it will lead but I’m sure I will enjoy it!
I treated myself to something special from Etsy.
I searched Etsy for a ‘heart banner’ and
found the perfect banner for my window at Robinhill Quilts!
(she sent me a pretty strawberry, too!)
And later I found out she had a blog so I visited her at her blog HERE !
Do you like this special touch in my dreamy bedroom?
The hearts are cut from an old quilt
…
but not the one I’ve been working on!
I’ll have the ‘latest’ news of the old red quilt SOON!

I wonder where my birthday dress is and my white sandals
and if my mother can trim my bangs any shorter!!!

Happy, Happy Birthday! And I love the Heart Banner. It fits your window area just perfectly! I laughed when I read the part about your mom cutting your bangs too short! My mom always did that, too. She'd trim one side and then say, "Oh, it's uneven. Now I just need to trim a little bit more on this side...." etc! Pretty soon...No Bangs! I learned at a very young age to hide when she came toward with "her barber" scissors! :D

Your childhood photo brought back so many memories.My hair was so blonde it looked almost white when I was little and it did not start to change until I was around 10. My mom not only liked to cut my hair short..Like maybe 2 inches long, but she would perm it..and then it was even shorter..it would take almost a year to grow out and then she would do the same thing again. But one good thing did come out of it...I can perm hair..I decided about 10 years ago not to perm it any more and have been happy with it.
You Valentine decor is so sweet, especially the garland. And, the Gulf Coast pictures are awesome.
