I finally did it! I made myself an apron!

My cousin, Cindy gave me the book and fabric for Christmas

and I sat down and made one!

YAY!

I'm so proud of myself! It was something I really needed!

Lovely new apron and aren't they so handy.

A few weeks ago I posted on my blog, ~ history of the apron, which was quite a fun little story if you are interested.

LOVE the apron. Have you seen the new APRON book, put out by STAMPINGTON, the folks who put out the Artful Blogging book? Amazing.

I think you did a great job on your apron! I love that ruffled collar. I used that same blue fabric for an apron for my daughter.

I love how your apron came out! (That blue fabric is gorgeous!) A friend of mine just gave me her Kitchen Linens book, and it's great. I haven't had a lot of time to look through it yet, but what I've seen of it is really fun.
