Dear Lavender Dreamer, I love your apron! I made lots of aprons years ago...one for each month. I put my apron on and I go to work...when I take my apron off I am on break... Very pretty. They are fin to make and to wear. Sherry
I love how your apron came out! (That blue fabric is gorgeous!) A friend of mine just gave me her Kitchen Linens book, and it's great. I haven't had a lot of time to look through it yet, but what I've seen of it is really fun.
Lavender has long been a favorite flower and color of genteel ladies. This shade of purple suggests refinement along with grace, elegance, and something special.
