"To the MOON !"

I have started taking my camera with me everywhere...finally!

And I took this photo just a few minutes ago with
my head out the window whizzing down the highway
trying to find a shot between power poles! lol
( hubby was driving! )

The clouds look amazing today and there's a JET above the clouds
probably already to the moon by now!

My friend at Old Centennial Farmhouse
shared her recipe for home made fabric softener
a few days ago....HERE...
and I promised to post some of my favorite products.

(this dishwashing detergent comes in Lavender, too!)

I use a lot of green products because it's so much healthier for us!

I was always bothered by harsh chemicals
so I am so happy there are alternatives now!

Of course Lavender products are favorites in the
Lavender Cottage!

For the bath, too...

Aaahhhh........SO NICE!

Have a beautiful day!

PS I buy some of these products at my regular grocery store,
Ingles, some at a whole foods store, Earth Fare, and
some I have even found at World Market.
Here's a link to Mrs. Meyers.
The Mrs. Meyers products are ABOVE all my FAVS!!
And they have free shipping right now!
The laundry detergent lasts a LONG time!
ENJOY!

Your cloud photos are great! I can just see you hanging out the window, snapping photos!

Thanks for the link to the homemade fabric softener. That looks simple and easy enough for me to do. And also for the Mrs Meyers items. It's good to be green!!

Hi Diane,

The shot of the clouds behind the trees was perfect, and the "To the Moon" was a nice con trail of a high altitude jet. It for a moment reminded me of Jackie Gleason in the Honeymooners, "One of These Days Alice, to the Moon!" Keep the good photos coming. Almost forgot, looking forward to Wednesday Wee-Ones.

I also enjoy all the natural green products. I make lots of mine too. I love lavender laundry water for my ironing. I am in the middle of my lavender harvest and thought of you!

So...I always take my camera everywhere with me....I just can't remember to actually take pictures.

I switched to more environmentally friendly cleaning products a while back too. I'm having a hard time finding an automatic dishwashing detergent that works well though. I wasn't happy at all with the seventh generation liquid. Does the powder do a pretty good job?

I've not tried Mrs. Meyers yet. But, I've been tempted. This has convinced me!

Lovely cloud photographs. Hasn't the moon been amazing this week??

Thanks for all the wonderful comments! Lori, I don't think the liquid works as well as the powder. But I usually rinse my dishes first and put them on a light wash so I'm not really giving them a full test!
