This morning I woke up with an idea to find some lists comprising of “Best Of” movies.

Last night we watched Roman Holiday with Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck and I want to see MORE!

I googled some of our favorite actors to find out which movies were their best.

Tonight I hopped on my blog and looked at my favorites and saw that ‘great minds think alike’!

My friend at Freckled Hen has compiled a wonderful list of Romantic Classics! Go to her blog HERE ! I can’t wait to find some of these, too! (I check DVDs out from the library)

Thank you for your nice comments on my blog. It seems that we share alot of the same ideas and past experiences. I forgot to mention, and I was talking with my husband tonight, that one of my most favorite Christmases was the one we spent with our Daughter in San Antonio several years ago and her and my three granddaughter and myself went to watch the San Antonio ballet performing The Nutcracker. It will alway be a speacial time in my life.
I truly enjoy reading your blog and visit here at least once a day to see what you are up to that day.

The old B&W movies are so wonderful aren't they? Do you remember a show called "Million Dollar Movie" in thelate 60-s and 70's where they showed a wonderful movie on TV every week?

Thanks for the lists ...I see a few I'd like to order from Netflix!

My husband adores old movies. I'm not much for television. I'm a reader. Now if it's in a book, I'm game!

We love the old movies too!
Gregory Peck is just about my all-time favorite. He was a really classy, intelligent person!
Here is a less known but wonderful 1940's movie, "I Know Where I'm Going" directed by Micheal Powell, filmed in the Hebrides off of Scotland...love it!

Thanks for the list. I saw some of my favorite movies were listed. Two of my all time favorites - Sunset Boulevard and To Kill a Mockingbird were missing from the list, however. I have them on our TIVO, and never delete them. They are always good for watching on a rainy night when I am too lazy to read in order to get sleepy.

I do love to watch Psycho. Any of the old classics are like a cup of hot chocolate at bedtime without the calories.I love TCM.

I have been really busy lately. I saw your name while I was visiting another blogger I had not visited in awhile and thought I would pop in and wish you a Happy Thanksgiving.

The newspaper is working me very hard and I am on call 24/7 - doctors hours, except without the pay and the Mercedes.

Hope you are well.

What a neat thing for your friend to do. I belong to Netflex so all I have to do is go online and quickly have it sent, or, I can just watch it on my computer.
Often I find them at garage sales for a quarter.
I just bought Ann Of Green Gables. I had seen it many years ago and watched it again last night. I watch movies more than once (I reread books also) and so now I can watch it over and over.

I jotted a few down that I would love to see again. Thank you so much for the reminder...:)

Happy Thanksgiving to your and your family! ENJOY!
