Our day so far….

We’re having the best day! It is sunny and bright (and too windy to walk) so my hubby and I drove over to Blue Sky for lunch. I had a Turkey and Swiss on wheat berry bread, toasted to perfection with Sweet Potato Fries on the side! OH MY! They are so amazing! Crisp on the outside, soft inside with Kosher salt sprinkled all over. We even had a cup of coffee with our meal. Then we stopped at the library and I found a November Southern Living magazine in the giveaway stack…which makes my day! (photo from the park)

Next we stopped at LuLu’s  and I found 2 Gooseberry Patch books. They are not the regular cookbooks. They have recipes and crafts. How neat!

I even found a Golden book I don’t have!

Then when we got home, we saw a C-130 flying over so I zoomed in and got some great photos!

My hubby loves seeing military planes

so he was as excited to see them as I was to get a new magazine and Gooseberry Patch books! lol

We had a beautiful sunset last night.

Sounds like a great day! The weather was beautiful today for fall. I spent the day with my realtor, going to our property in Forest City, NC to put it on the market.

We are in a major storm in Washington and we can't even see the sky, it's so black. The wind is really strong...were hoping the power does not pop out. Days with our husbands are the best!

Great photos!! Aren't Gooseberry Patch books the greatest...I have several of them. The gals that own Gooseberry Patch live here in Ohio about an hour away. They were at the Country Living Fair this year signing books.

I enjoyed the scenic photos.

And that collection of golden books must be quite big. I did not have the one you found either.
