Weekend FUN!

We’ve watched 2 of the best movies this holiday weekend!

We loved “The Proposal” with Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds. Very cute story!

But we found one we hadn’t heard as much about and liked even better! A perfect winter time movie…..”New in Town” with Rene Zellweger and Harry Connick, Jr. !

This movie is wonderful and we will definitely be buying it and watching it over and over again! Very sweet!

For some winter time meals, I’ve found the most wonderful blog, The English Kitchen…click HERE ! Such great recipes!

Anything with Renee Zellweger in it has to be good. Loved her in Miss Potter & Cold Mountain is my all time favorite. I will have to check this one out.

I'll be checking out those recipes. She sure has a cute sidebar on her blog. Occasionally I find a movie I'll watch all the way through. But I bore easily, so it has to be full of suspense. I use to watch anything that was on, but I'm getting really particular as I age! Have a wonderful rest of the weekend!

Hope you are having a great Thanksgiving weekend. I'm at a Christmas Craft show this weekend. Lots of fun shopping...got a really cute snowman.

Oh I love your blog, I am so glad you stopped over for a visit, I follow your now too.

I agree with you these two were incredible movies, Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds had such great chemistry in this movie, I loved the part where she was dancing in the woods with the grandmother, I laughed so hard, I cried. New in Town was so romantic I cried, I thought the part where she shot Harry Connick in the rear-end was so funny. These are truly funny romantic movies to enjoy.

Blessings

Well hello!! Thank you for stopping by my blog! I LOVED both of those movies. I don't laugh very much. I don't usually find comedy "funny". Premeditated humor usually leaves me frustrated, I like that oops humor. :) I laughed at both of these movies. I get Netflix and I am always watching a new movie! I can't wait to see more of your posts! I am in NC too! Just on the Eastern side...no mountains here, a lot of corn fields!
