My BEST day!

My favorite day always includes seeing the ocean...and the Gulf coast was beautiful yesterday! We drove out to Peck’s to eat Almond encrusted Grouper and bird watch!

It was a thrill to see this eagle!
DSCN3182(and Brenda, I did not color pop or change the color of this photo...isn’t it a beautiful blue!)
To make the day even better, my hubby stopped at 2 thrift stores and I found a few treasures. I am trying to be very selective but I was thrilled to find this plate

and a few vintage things.

He found a cute spot among the presents from my sweet cousin!

And I always love to find pretty handmade items like this doily.

This little figurine is Made in Japan and even has 1959 imprinted on the bottom.

It’s my FAVORITE find! So sweet and perfect!

I know these aren’t really old because they have a bar code but they are made in the USA and I love them!

Well....I am baking today so here’s my messy kitchen with me in it! (My hubby is the ONLY person in the WORLD that thinks I look cute with my hair sticking out every which way,  no make up and a poodle apron so I cropped my head off so that you could at least see the poodle apron!) lol
DSCN3218
And a plate of snickerdoodles for my hubby
DSCN3222 and cranberry orange scones for me!
DSCN3223 What are you doing today? Hope you’re having FUN!

Beautiful shot of the Eagle. As a Veteran, that symbol is always a sign of peace and strength.
Respectfully, and happy holidays, Larry.

We had a little snow to take care of today. Not as much in Western MA as predicted, though.

Your apron is cute! Couldn't help but notice your KitchenAid mixer. Mine is a mustard yellow color. They sure help make some yummy goodies. Your Scones & Snickerdoodles look so good!

ouuuuuuu.... I would love your recipe for your cranberry orange scones. We love scones and those look yummmmy.
I should have known that you would find some more pixies. You are so cute with all your little people.

Wow! That's an incredible shade of blue! I would love to go somewhere to bird watch. Although I do have quite a few in my yard. I spent the day working in the yard. And a backache to remind me I should have stopped before I planted that big nandina. What was I thinking?

Hi Diane,

Oh my goodness - you found some adorable decorations. Your home looks so pretty all decked out for the holidays.

I made cranberry bread and some yummy hot chocolate using the recipe on the Hershey Chocolate box - yummy.

Wishing you and your family a warm and wonderful Christmas and a Joyful New Year.

Blessings,
Erin

I'm always amazed at your blue skies down yonder. The pink apron is more than cute, no wonder your honey loves you making him treats like that! I'm off to Goodwill in two shakes of a reindeers tail...
