Spend the day with me.....

I’m not trying to rub it in....really I’m not...I PROMISE!

But it just doesn’t get any better than today! My hubby offered to grocery shop with me...OH MY! That makes a world of difference! I could stand in front of the magazines and pick out a December Southern Living with an article on Micanopy, a town that Daisy Cottage, Kim told us about (that’s VERY near me and that I plan to visit SOON!)

And he EVEN stopped at my favorite thrift store and sat in the car while I ran through the store and found these Shiny Brites and a Christmas tablecloth that’s in the washer right now!

The clouds in the sky were glorious!

We came home and I cooked potatoes and boiled eggs to make potato salad....to go with baked beans and RIBS, that my hubby put a dry rub on to grill later.

Then he set about to power wash our courtyard.

Eventually we would like to change things out there but for now CLEAN would be better than grungy!

And do you think he loves me?

Our fruit plate always looks different when we get here....

so many fresh veggies and fruit in the stores at great prices.

So it’s time to put on my new slippers and see what my blogger buddies are up to today! (PS It’s in the 80s here today...I know someone will want to know! )

I hope your day is GREAT! Come and visit when you can!

Yeah, rub it in. I have frozen plants out there and this is East Texas. And the fruit too. Our fruit in the stores now is yuck. When can you have a bedroom ready? Kidding, as a pet-mom, I don't get the luxury of traveling right now. I can wish though.

80 degrees. Dang it. Can I come for a visit to warm up my 23 degree bones.
What a sweet husband. I think we are lucky ladies indeed. No my husband is working out in the cold but if he was off he would gladly do the shopping, of which he used to hate to do, or go to the thrift stores or antiques shops . I think he is softening in his old age. heheh

So glad we got a second look at that sweet tea party....the gingerbread children are so cute. It has been in the 30's to low 40's here today and it is going down to 26 tonight....burr...it's cold. I will be backing up to the old Dearborn heater for sure..smile...blessings

That bowl of cherries is killing me. Cherries are the one of the most expensive fruit as they are all airflown..one day when I am there, I'll eat buckets of them :)
