Sunday morning greetings!

It’s a cool morning for Florida but the sun is trying to peek out and I have plans to organize my craft supplies today. I’m on a roll! lol

Mice6326

This is a Jacquie Lawson card that I wanted to share with you. Her cards are all so amazing! Here’s her website. There are some of the most beautiful cards I’ve ever seen, especially for the holidays!

To answer a few questions....

Vee  from A Haven for Vee asked why my blog shows up as Happy Holidays. I had that in my Christmas banner and I think it got stuck in blogland!

And for Jan at My Sanctuary .... here’s a link for the Jingle Mouse that I love to make CLICK HERE ! She wrote to me about my childhood photos on my side bar...some of these were taken in Houston, TX and the others in Arkansas where I grew up. I thought since it was my birthday month, I would share old photos ( I mean photos from the past! heeheehee )

Here’s my first grade photo...

I love the 1st grade picture of you. You were so cute! At seventy sometimes getting the old pictures out make me happy and weepy.
Hope the cleaning and organizing of your crafts is going well. Everytime I do this I get about half finished and hate myself for starting it.
I love the mice, they are so cute!!

I love Jacquie Lawson cards too. I was sent a few for Christmas, but hadn't seen the New Years one.
Your 1st grade photo is adorable as are the others on your sidebar. I especially like the one where you are wearing the long dress.

Your photo is precious. Your inner sweetness and smile clearly have always been a part of you.

It was 13 degrees here with 45 mph winds today. Do you want to switch locations? Or how about if I just come for a visit?

Thanks Diane. I sat down on the floor and went through my old photos and found several that reminded me of yours. I will post them if I can get me printer to scan them for me. The funny thing about looking for them is that when I went to get up my legs wouldn't work. OWWWWWWwwww I looked like a little older woman as I walked back into the living room. My husband said, "I was going to mention that you better not sit like that too long as you won't be able to get back up, but I forgot." I said, "I may not be able to straighten my legs but at least my memory is still working"
Heheh
I will post those today if my scanner works. Thanks Diane for the link for the mice.

You have a little curl too! You could be a girl with a curl too...just like me. I heard from another blogger temps have dropped. Pull the flamingo's in so they don't freeze! Rain, rain and more rain in Washington.

I loved these church mice sooo much I sent the link to my SIL. Shes got grandchildren that I'm sure would like a little mouse of there own.

Your school picture reminded me of my own. I wore a jumper with a white blouse that had the same style of collar as yours.

I miss the warmer temps of when I lived in So-Cal many years ago. I'm hoping retirement will take us back home to CA to warmer winters.
Then maybe we can incorporate a New Years tradition like yours.

Sweet wishes,
Sara

Love the mousies--and your photo. It reminds me of some of mine, even the dress.
