What an interesting week...and pretty things!

It’s been COLD in Florida but I can’t complain because my hubby drove back up to NC to take care of some business and it was MUCH colder up there! BRRRR!!!

We just bundled up a little around here and went shopping!

I found these beautiful mugs at Dillard’s yesterday. I couldn’t decide which one to get so I decided to get them both.

The tag on the bottom said $8 and I thought they were worth it! I was thrilled when she rang them up at half price!

I have used black coffee mugs for years now and I was ready for a change!

Here are all the beautiful things I received from Twyla and Lindsey when they had a sweet giveaway a couple of weeks ago! It’s been great to have them to wear during this cold snap! I have some of the Woolrich Aloe Vera socks that keep your feet warm and soft and these little slippers are perfect over those socks. I love the pincushion and beautiful photo box, too! Thank you to my dear friends...Two Crazy Crafters !

I was SO happy to see my dear hubby back home safe and sound last night ...and it was extra nice that he was bearing gifts! My sweet friend, Michela from Little Secrets From my Garden sent me a love gift and it got stuck in NC! I opened the first little package and it was yummy candies! I can’t wait to taste them! ( and share them with my hubby! )

They are delicious! And the second little package was this beautiful little Italian doll! I almost cried when I saw her!

Wendy thinks she is hers!

Thank you, dear Michela! I will treasure my precious gifts!

How sweet of you to remember me! I am so blessed!

Those mugs are wonderful...and your treasures...fantastic. I laughed that Wendy thinks the doll is hers. Silly girl, but I'm sure that she'll share.

It's cold in every corner of the USA right now it seems. We have rain pouring down tonight. The gnomes were talking about getting the row boat out and heading down the creek!
I like those cups too. I was in our Pier I up here buying some new bowls last night...just really tired of the old ones...mustard color. Can't figure out how I ever thought the mustard colored ones were pretty. Looks horrible now..smile.

I won't complain about the cold. It's been in the 40's here but that is nothing compared to the rest of the country! Your packages are wonderful. That doll is just precious!

What a lucky lady you are. You must have done something very special to be remembered in such sweet ways. Love your new doll and the slippers look just cozy wonderful. I have made that pin cushion too out of several different fabrics depending on the occasion. I also made a Christmas tree one out of Green velvet and green and white ticking fabric on the bottom.
Very nice gifts.

OMG that was just the best video. I loved it. How do you suppose they got it all so cordinated and was able to carry it off like that. Too Cool.
I enjoyed that.
How do you put You Tube videos on your blogspot? Can you email and explain it to me?
Thanks for the uplifting morning ice breaker.

My poor little pond is frozen, something I've never seen in five years here. I haven't been out since probably Wednesday. And until it warms up I'm staying in. Your treasures are cute as can be!
