I loved buying Golden books and reading them to my son. You have a great collection.

I like the author Nancy Thayer books about the Hot Flash Club. She has one called Hot Flash Holidays. But you need to read the whole series from the beginning to know who all of the people are.

Penny

I actually have that little "Jingle Bells" book on display, and a few pop-up books I bought several years ago. I love my little Christmas books.

Wonderful Christmas books. Your grands must love them as much as you do! My favorite is "The Christmas Day Kitten" by James Herriot.

I buy a Christmas book every year and date it. My girls are 20 and 26 so I have many books. My favorites are too many to name but a few are: How Little Porcupine Played Christmas by Joseph Slate, The Heron Carol by Frances Tyrrell, The Christmas Wreath by James Hoffman, and Great Joy by Kate DiCamillo(new this year). I LOVED reading to my girls when they were young and both love to read still. Merry Christmas and enjoy those books.

I love books but haven't read anything lately. It seems like there is not enough hours in the day or silence in the house to read. Don likes TV on all the waking hours that I primarily read blogs. Take care and I loved your little books.

Nice collection, and very happy to see it, as I'm a retired librarian, and worked in the library - department for children. Here from jolly holly bingo. Loredana.

I don't have a favorite Christmas book. I do recall my girls having the little Golden books. I wonder what happened to those? Maybe they have them.

So it's not just me??!! I loooooove books....well, being a teacher helps!!...I read the Christmas Story one to the kids the week before holidays...amazing that many of them didn't know or understand the story.....they're 11 !!!
So you were wondering if anyone would come and visit from the Holly Jolly Blog roll??? Don't you just love the idea??? It's so much fun! Good luck with the bingo (I'm starting slowly!!!).

Diane, I like the vintage children's books too. Some of these remind me of when my girls were little. We always bought them books. Today my younger daughter is an editor. :-)
My elder daughter and author of a quilting book and has been published in many other books too. :-) And both love all things vintage! We used to "drag" them to antique shops with us! LOL! Books are wonderful!!!
Hugs,
Diane
