I have something that most people don’t have....
a room for my dolls!
My hubby was sweet to put up shelves all over the room...
and here are the shelves above the baby crib (where the baby dolls live)
I collect children’s books, too.
I am posting this for Wednesday Wee Ones...
and Kim at Savvy Southern for Wow Us Wednesday!
Do you have a neat collection?
Enjoy your day and take time to PLAY!

I am a grown up who is still very kid at heart. I adore your collections! I love dolls!!!! How I wish I could have this space and collections too.
Thanks for sharing it. It's so refreshing and relaxing to look at.

Oh YAY-someone like me!Before we moved and down sized my dolls had a room of their own too.It was also my granchildrens play room. The dolls were all on shelves my husband made for me.At that time all my grandkids were boys so they never asked to play with them. Now my dolls are still all around but don't have a room of their own anymore.
I love this room! Made me smile.
Diane, that is some collection. How many years have you been doing this? Thanks for linking. I am glad it was easy.
A true fantasy room! I'm more a books than dolls girl, but I think its all charming! and thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving your sweet comment, I do appreciate it!
WHOA! you are just a kid at heart.
What a collection, how much time do you spend in that room just looking at them. I bet each and everyone has a story to tell. They are great...but what I'm really loving is that little black cat on your side bar.

Wow ~ a whole room for your dolls. You are one lucky girls. I am your newest follower because I love my dolls too, although I don't have as many as you do. I love your vintage children's books too. Stop by and visit me when you have a chance. I received a dollhouse for Christmas and will be putting it together soon.
Love,
Susan and Bentley

What a sweet collection, you inspire me to unpack my treasures! I have my Disney Pollyanna doll, she is now 50 years old, a little tattered, but she's still smiling. Blessings, Pam
Wow, thanks for the peek...I'll have to show my little girl your post, she would think it was "Heaven" :) Laurel@chippingwithcharm
You should meet my friend Barbara who has a room for her Raggedy Ann and Andy's. That is quite a collection.
What a nice place you have for your dolls. Mine are in boxes waiting for a room to call their own. I love how you have decorated just for them!
WOW Diane, that room is every little girls dream!!~ Fantastic collection, how fun.XO
Oh my goodness! What lucky dolls to have a room of their own and lucky you to be able to have such a beautiful collection. I'm loving that tattered brown teddy bear. Thanks for sharing your collection.
That was awesome! For a second I felt like I was back in my room when I was a kid. Thanks for sharing that!
Oh my goodness I love dolls and children's books too!!! And I have lots of both. Sadly my son is terrified of dolls!!! My beauties are hidden away...they scare him! When I get upset with him all I have to say is I'm bringing out the dolls lol !!! Or show him a blog with doll heads...that really scares him!
How wonderful that your husband understands your doll collection.

What a wonderful and very special collection.
This is so fun!!--Everyone should have a room like this where all of their favorite things live.
What a fun place to play! It's wonderful that you have a room especially for your collection. So, who babysits when you are away part of the year ;-)
what a great playroom! I love children's books too. I have a collection of some of the old Elsie Dinsmore series but mostly mine are more modern children's books about or related to quilting
What a great room! I love the happiness of it all, thanks for sharing!
Hi Diane,
You WoW'd me for sure...I use to collect dolls, but then I ran out of room, I started giving them away to my grand daughter, they were the Yolanda Bellows babies. I went to a doll show and she was there, so she signed a few them for me. Its was hard to have the dolls since every time my grand daughter would be over and any little one they would want to play with them..
Your collection is amazing and very fun in deed.
Have a sweet day, hugs Elizabeth
I used to have a doll collection from countries that I visited around the world as a child...but the collection was donated to goodwill when my parents moved!!! That bummed me out when I learned I no longer had my old doll collection, so enjoy yours.
What a collection ~ it must be so much fun to "play:" with!! I love your vintage children's books too. They bring back so many fond memories.
Thanks for visiting my blog ~ come back anytime.
Have a great day!
Sue
When we can no longer play, I think then we'd better start getting worried! Wonderful and organized collection you have!
Brenda
That is fabulous! I love that you have a space for your collection. I'd kill for a craft room! lol!
Thanks for visiting!
How lovely! And I see some rabbits in there!
This is an amazing collection and how nicely you have put it all together. I don't collect dolls but I do have many of the books from my childhood, including the reader that I learned how to read from. (-: Thanks for sharing.
Love your doll collection!! Thank you for stopping by my blog & for the birthday sweetness!!
Take Care,
Kristin
Oh wow Diane! what a neat collection, how sweet that you have a room to display them all! Love it!
Your doll in the pink dress reminds me of my Gigi from Paris. I was little when I got her so she is over 50 like me and lives in a draw by my bedside.
I simply enjoyed all those photos, thanks for sharing!!

Loved seeing your collection of dolls. I have a lot of dolls, but I think I have more bunnies... and bears.. maybe some day when all my kids finally move out for the LAST time, I will dedicate a room to my various critters!! Keep playing!!Found you off my friend Sharon Field's blog. Congrats on winning her squash book.. she does beautiful work!!
I love your doll room...how great! I keep some of my dolls in my children's old bedroom (the girls are all grown up now) But when I used it for a guest bedroom...I am kind of embarrassed...I wonder what the visitors really think.
