Wednesday Wee Ones “On the way to the Doll Room”

They were on the way to the doll room to get their clothes changed…really they were!

But I put them down on the sofa for just a little while and left.

When I got home, Anne was reading a Teddy Bear book to Wendy and Raggedy Annie.

I think you all encouraged my hubby too much and now he is posing my dolls, too!

DSCN0472

He sure got a kick out of all the ‘chicken’ comments on the last post!

(and truthfully, he has always moved things around…sometimes just to see if I will notice!)

Sweet Annie was made by my friend,

Maxie at Prims and Annies!

I just have to show you the cute little ‘vintage’ pillow that I found at the thrift store. I washed it and it came out great! Something ‘new’ for the baby bed!

Hello Miss Lavender Dreams,

Well, I do like your post, I think more bears (dolls too) should be posting. But you know what I am gonna say "no teddy bears?". Okay, I'll give you a point cause there is a bear on the book cover...but.....

I guess it's time to explain to Mr. Dreams that I "watch" to make sure there are teddy bears in dolly rooms.

It's what I do, and I am sure that you know by now that I can be "bear-i-cult". Giggle (Mr. Dreams, that means difficult.)

Heaps of Hugs to you both.
Prudence

I like that pillow. It would look lovely in my bedroom, it's yellow.

Oh they are so sweet. And I just adore that vintage pillow. When I see things like that at the thrift store I just grab them up.

What sweet companions you have! They are so sweet and life-like. I love that pillow. It reminds me of the applique block quilts my mother used to make when I was a little girl (and still makes at the age of 82).

I've enjoyed my visit to your lovely blog and signed up to be a follower. :)

Sweet...those little pillows were all the rage when my mother was a little girl in the 30s. I have one of two Scottie dogs that I hope to rescue.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and saying "hello". Where exactly are you in Florida? I'm trying to learn different areas. Really trying to get used to these "warm" winters too! Hope you have a great week as well:)

How cute! My hubby used to surprise me by slipping a bear now and then in my luggage when I went on business trips.

You've got him trained well to set up doll vignettes, haven't you?

Tell him next time to pick a story that isn't sad so those poor babies aren't crying! Just kidding...I've never read that story!

I think those "cutesy" vintage embroidered things are making their way "in" around the antique stores. I noticed table covers and pillow cases similar to your pillow last week when I went my favorite junk and vintage shops. This will be a wonderful addition to your doll room.

Thank you for being a great friend and linking more of your cute dolls to my party. I still need for you to set up a room in your house for me so I can just play with your collection all the time!

Oh Diane, your dolls are wonderful and look like real children! Who made the toddler looking ones? Are they Middleton dolls? I have Bleuettes and Rosettes; Mary Hoyer dolls from my childhood; a few Magic Attic and American Girl dolls, but always, always have room for more. I also make cards and generally use Magnolia stamps and a lovely woman in England just made me a cloth doll that is supposed to be the little girl in the stamps. I will post about her as soon as I get a good photo of her. I love your blog.
