Home Improvement…Easy does it!

What’s the best way to get a job done quickly?

Hire the professionals!

Let’s step out the front door and see who’s here this morning!

DSCN4551

We stayed in Florida this summer to get some home improvements done and now we have another one to mark off the list!

DSCN4555

We already had gutters on the front and back but not on the LONG sides of our house! (how ‘cheap’ is that?)

DSCN4558

I hope they don’t mind if I follow them around! lol

DSCN4559

Do you need any help?

DSCN4561

They got it done in ONE HOUR!

You can’t beat that for a speedy home improvement. Do you love to mark things off the list as much as I do?

(and no your eyes aren’t deceiving you…they had a flat on the way over but they got it fixed and were on their way to another job!)

haha. Yeah, that's a great way to get it done! I love it that you followed them with your camera. I wonder how many of us bloggers do that. I think it's part of Blogger Syndrome. :-)

It looks like you're set for the rainy season. I love checking things off my lists. Enjoy your day. Hugs

It would have taken you all day! ☺ Just teasing. It would've taken me years because I'd not have attempted it. I resisted the urge to photograph the siding delivery yesterday. I shouldn't have!

Yes I love to mark home improvements off my list. Little or big, just marking it off and enjoying the things to do to our nest makes me happy. :)

I am a list checker-off-er...list for everything.
I am so jealous, when we built our home two years ago we put off putting up the gutters, now I know we will probable never get round to it.I wish we would have done it during construction.
Wow they made short work of this, can you send them to southeast Ga,tehehehehe.

Yes! I love marking things off the home to do list! Hiring the professionals is the best way to get the job done, too. Growing up in, and being in the construction and remodeling business, we are big DIY'ers.
Those are some LONG pieces of gutter. It's nice that it was a quick job, too.

That is great! What a pretty home, too!

Oh yes, I like that kind of home improvement too, completed with an easy phone call! It's funny how there weren't gutters on the long sides all this time.

We've got a little landscaping project going here today. Didn't know it was going to start so soon, LOL! But they showed up while we were at the grocery store. Gosh it's so nice not to have to do that kind of stuff anymore.

I love crossing things off my to do list! I had one with 28 things (small, medium and big jobs) and got down to about 8. Then more got added. Then I misplaced the list!! xo

How good to get another home improvement done, those workers know what they are doing, and I like the eagle and flag on their truck.

I seldom have professionals...but I sure would LIKE to.:))
Mr. Sweet does most of the repairs and upkeep around Sweet Nothings. :)
I LOVE marking things off my
"GET 'ER DONE" list. :)

Glad things got done quickly and easily by a reputable company! Love the surprise package you got in the last post too, how fun! :)

It feels GREAT to get things crossed off the list. (And every homeowner has a list.) I had a jack-of-all-trades come out last fall to take care of the things on my list. Such a relief to get it all done. :-)

Definitely quick work. I'm sure they loved all the extra camera attention (tee hee). My husband did a pretty good job on his honey-do summer list. I know we definitely enjoyed crossing things off it.

when I fist looked at the photo and your caption I thought you were being sarcastic and they had dropped all your boxes on the road, but alas, they were good indeed ;-)

It's especially satisfying when a job is just half done for so long! Now you are ready for the rain :)

Hi Diane,

Yes, good to get the too do things ticked off the list.
Will be good having the job of the gutters done. Can't believe that the builders would not have done gutters on the sides too.

Happy rest of the week

Amazing advice here! Thank you so much for putting this one up for everyone to see. People will appreciate this kind of information going around on the internet.

My DIY hubby would be crying if I hired someone to help with these types of chores. He is slow, but he is cheap labor, so I guess I better not make him sulk, eh? :)
