What did I do with them all?
Did I ‘throw’ them out?
No...I covered them!

After....
Pillow covers are a 'girl’s best friend’!
I LOVE throw pillows but I don’t have room in the linen closet for even one more small pillow!
Pillow covers are fun to use when I’m in the mood for a change!

After....
I LOVE having two red sofas in my living room!
I made three pillow covers today and tweaked my sofas!
Now I’m ready for Fall!
You can see we get a LOT of sunshine in our home. But we have tinting on all of our windows which helps with the glare and keeps the UV rays from damaging carpet and furniture. The sun is so bright that it is a challenge to get good photos though!
I’m joining my girlfriend, Brenda
for Tweak it Tuesday!
Do you love throw pillows as much as I do?

Yes - I love throw pillows too. By the way I think I have the same red sofa as you do! I love the one with the tree truck and branches. I might have to do some changes to my pillows too - thanks for the idea!
Hugs,
Pat
I'm ready for fall too! Love the red sofas and handmade pillows!
Brilliant idea to cover your throw pillows according to the season. With the whole family back to school as of this morning, I'm definitely ready for fall too. Happy Monday!
Pillow covers are a great way to change up your decor! You can change them according to your mood or the seasons :)
They really look like designer pillows Diane, you did a great job on them!
Beautiful! The throw pillows are so pretty, and so are the red couches :)
I've been thinking about making some pillow covers for my sofa pillows but haven't decided on fabric. Yours turned out really great. Love the red sofas. They're a brave choice. Enjoy your week Diane. Hugs

I love your red sofas and the pillows look great! We love throw pillows, my kids will pile them on the floor and jump. My mother would never let me do that!

I love your red sofas and your pillows too. I have touches of red in my living room, kitchen, and our bedroom. I love throw pillows, but so does my little puppy. I've had to put them up, because Zoey won't leave them alone. I can't wait for her to out grow this puppy stage!!

Cindy

The coral pillow is beautiful!! Feels cozy too. And I DO love throw pillows! Have even two stacked on the floor!
Yes, I DO like throw pillows! Last week I went to Jo-ann's, coupons in hand, for fabric to make new pillow shams. :) Your maroon/gold patterned pillow is so pretty, Diane!

Can you get to many pillows? I don't think so....

Hi Diane,
I do the same thing, I have many slip covers I have made, that I change around also. Using the same pillow form really helps with storage. I have a small linen closet I think I can't fit one more thing in it either..I love your red sofas so pretty! you know I love red :)
Have a sweet day, Elizabeth
I do the same thing with pillows - it's an easy way to change the atmosphere in a room especially when the seasons are changing. Your red furniture looks really nice in your living room.
Love your pillows- I have really pared down on the pillows over the years-but still have more than I need! Yours look great-and I love your red sofas. This girl (you) is not afraid of color! xo Diana

It is fun to be able to change the cushion covers with the seasons, I treated myself to some lovely ones in Istanbul back in the Spring. I love your sofas, red is my favourite colour.
Yes I do love throw pillows. Yours are beautiful!

Great fabric choices. I have to begin to explore the thrift shops to swap out my 'summer' pillows on my porch with more of a 'fall' look.
They are gorgeous and make such great accent to your red couch.
I can't keep throw pillows in my house..The kids literally threw them around :-(
I love how just adding new covers makes a total transformation. Ann
