We drove a few hundred miles North to experience Autumn in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains!
And it never disappoints!
(I did not enhance the color in any of these photos)
I added some photos from Falls in the past to create this mosaic. (We’re just now starting to see some color this Fall.)
My girlfriend from The Shop Around the Corner has asked us to do a post inspired by the movie, ‘When Harry Met Sally’. It’s time to WATCH this fabulous movie and join in the FUN!
I love all of the beautiful Fall scenes and her fabulous wardrobe in this movie!
I’m also joining Mary for Mosaic Monday
and Diane for Beautiful Sunday
and Sunny Simple Sunday !
(I just had to take ONE to Picmonkey and darken it!)

I LOVE that movie and your photos. Our fall is coming leaf by leaf this year it seems. Some trees have burst into color and lost their leaves already and others are barely changing. You've inspire me to take my camera for a drive, though.
So pretty! I haven't seen a tree this beautiful in years...what some awesome color! I remember this movie, and Meg Ryan is one of my faves. Have you seen Kate & Leopold? Such a GOOD movie!
Beautiful colors! Ours are at peak right now. I so wanted to go hiking this weekend, but it's been a torrential downpour yesterday and today. I cleaned out closets and did laundry instead. Not as much fun. :-(
That is such a gorgeous part of the country, especially this time of year. A few years ago we took our granddaughter on a college tour through there. Beautiful!
I've never seen that movie, believe it or not. Now I'll have to go track it down!
Great colors and pictures. Our colors are just beginning to change too. Should be beautiful over the next week or so. Happy Sunday!
Gorgeous! My grandparents lived in Gastonia when I was a child. I haven't been through the Blue Ridge Mountains in a long time! It would be wonderful to go there again.
Your images are GORGEOUS, Diane, and your collage is an instant burst of energy. I'm giddy that you've joined our quaint movie lovers group.
I couldn't agree more about her wardrobe in the movie. I simply loved it, especially that cute hat.
I'm trying to set up a code for Glitter and a Movie guests to be able to take the blog-hop to their page. This way more visitors can see it. I'll see if I can put it up today.
Thanks again for joining us.
It's the perfect blustery autumn in Florida day here today.
XOXO's,
Marcia
I love those trees! What beautiful photos!!!! Those trees peaked early around where I live. Their leaves have already fallen off... :(
Beautiful post!!!!
Blessings!
Heather
Beautiful Sunday namemate! I love fall even though I never experienced having one in my country. You see, we only live with two seasons in my country. I love the tree and hopefully, when I get really really rich hahaha I will travel the world to see those beautiful trees and experience fall too.
Have a great week and you are blessed to see those beautiful places.
I love the Blue Ridge mountains and miss them dearly. When David and I lived in Middleburg, Virginia we had an uninterrupted view of the Blue Ridge from our property. It was lovely every season, but certainly came alive in the fall. Loved Sally's clothes in the movie too. Thanks for a wonderful trip down memory lane!
Hugs,
Susan and Bentley
How gorgeous! We are about to be enthralled with fall and it's a blessing after a tortuous summer! Enjoy your trip!
I've seen Fall in the Blue Ridge Mountains and it is spectacular! Our color is really disappointing this year, but I won't complain too much because we had such an extended summer. There's always next year, XOXO
Such pretty fall photos! It's not colorful here in Texas :(
hugs, Linda
I miss those colors so much...no color at all here in Florida until January.
Those colours are amazing, our trees are dropping leaves but do not seem to be changing colour much!! Have a good week. Diane
Beautiful colors Diane, they are so vibrant.
We are just starting to get them here.

Beautiful photos Diane, Thanks for sharing and thanks for your visit. Enjoy your weekend. Linda
How beautiful! I'd love to spend a day among these golden-leaved trees!
Thanks for visiting my blog and commenting! :)
I love that movie and those colors. I have been anxious for the colors to turn this year, but they are just beginning to change here. However, we tend to see more yellow than orange. Thanks for sharing your pretty pictures.
So very beautiful! I am really loving all the fall color starting to happen around here too! Happy Autumn!
lovely fall photos xx
now thats a love for the Fall to drive a few hundred miles to see it!!! Such beautiful photos, I had to start another blog, I missed being able to comment, hope this one sticks,
This Florida girl saw the fall leaves for the first time last fall in the Pokonos. It is so worth the drive.
oh wow....bet it was really gorgeous! There's nothing prettier than the leaf show that is put on by nature every year!!
The leaves are just beautiful! I live in South Florida so we never get to experience the leaves changing colors...XoXo
Awh, thank you, Diane. The blog-hop looks great here.
;)
I love Blue Ridge Mountains...we stayed in a reserve called Enota. It was amazing.
Well I SUPPOSE it is pretty but it still makes me sad -- haha! But then you probably know how I hate winter! HUGE storms here today -- very scary and unexpected this time of year. They even SAID the name of our town on the radio warning and that's something since there are only about 9,000 people in our town!
Love that movie and I love the fall photos ~ how beautiful. I love fall ~ all things comfy and cozy ;-)
What a wonderful way to see the beautiful Fall colors. Your photographs are gorgeous. So wonderful that we are blessed with the beauty around us. That is one of my favorite movies. Thank you for the reminder of The Shop Around the Corner.
Have a beautiful Monday.

I love the photos Diane. We are going to Kentucky. I sure hope I see color!!!~Ames
I love that movie! Lovely shots of the Blue Ridge Mountains and fall colors.
One of my favourite movies. I also like her wardrobe. Gorgeous fall photos.
The colors are just beautiful! I wish we had colors like that here, but our leaves turn yellow then fall off the tree! No red, no orange...

It has been so fun seeing autumn arrive on the east coast. Alaska's fall was pretty amazing too!
Fabulous autumn colour Diane.
I'm sorry, but every time I think of this movie, the scene in the restaurant comes to mind - it was hilarious!
Judith
Beautiful Fall colors!! Not seeing that here just yet.
Thanks for stopping by. Mums and pumpkins always say Fall.
Have a great week.
It must be very beautiful there all year around. Wonderful photos! Blessings, Pamela
Spectacular colour and scenery. I've never seen this movie - maybe it's time.
This makes me want to take a trip up to the mts to see the color. Great photos! And I also have not seen this movie but maybe I should!
How beautiful! I love everything about fall - the colours, the feeling of renewal....and the clothes!
Wow, these are some gorgeous fall colors. Texas never has fall color like this, so thanks for sharing. Love the movie When Harry Met Sally. Think I'll watch it this week. ;-)
Wow, gorgeous colors on the trees. The BlueRidge Mountains are beautiful. I also love the movie When Harry met Sally. Great post, thanks for sharing!
Gorgeous fall color. Certainly a time to celebrate. Valerie
Lovely colors! I miss them so much. Thanks for sharing.
The colors are beautiful. I'm visiting Asheville NC from near Portland OR. The colors here are gorgeous, though not yet as vivid as yours. Portland isn't doing badly either, though we don't get as many of the vivid reds.

Amazing color! It's been a very long time since I've seen that movie.
Beautiful fall color! I hope to get to the Blue ridge later this month, hope I do not miss the fall leaves! I have never made snickerdoodles, but think I will this year! I love the apron what a wonderful idea!
the colours in the trees are amazing!!

I am always amazed and delighted by images of fall in your country - the colours are amazing - it is something that doesn't happen with our native trees. Have a wonderful week and thanks for stopping by my blog to say hi.
Gorgeous pics. The trees are just breathtaking.
Diane, just stopped by briefly to let you know that I changed the linky option which explains why it has disappeared on your page too. teehee
I just want to keep it as simple as possible to inspire others, so I made a few changes, but the party is alive and well. ;)
XOXO's,
Marcia

Oh my goodness. Look at all the beautiful colors. You just don't see that here in the desert.
Hugs~
Oh my, I see all these intensely beautiful Fall images and I am so envious! We don't get his where I am, in fact we are still getting summer weather. I am ready for Fall - and hope we get some here before Fall is actually over. The vivid explosion Mother Nature provides is unmatched isn't it?
It's been so long since I've watched When Harry Met Sally and I do love the autumn scene you selected to show here!
You travelled 100 miles for this view! Well worth every mile of the trip!! Such stunning colours!
