“The Traveling Susan Apron”

It’s such an honor to be part of this sisterhood. Please see my post HERE for more of the details.

And what a privilege to have this special apron to enjoy!

The apron has done some extra ‘traveling’…

DSCN4962

and look where it showed up!

Well, the apron AND the Snickerdoodle cookies!

PMDSCN4961

It was such fun to share the cookies with more of my family in Myrtle beach!

And yes, my hubby and sweet daughter in law both got bags of cookies, too they just didn’t get into the photos!

I have one more photo to take of my apron.

Anyone want to guess where it is now?

It’s definitely baking weather here!

Have you baked anything special this week?

I have tried to not bake. I succeeded. I really like to bake when it's getting colder here in Indiana. Something very homey about baking in cold weather. Love that apron...I wish I had more,I do have one. Smiles, Susie

Your apron is enjoying quite the travels. I hope to do some baking on Sunday. I think apple pie is on the list. It's definitely good baking weather right now. Darling pics of your family.

Such a fun idea. Is everyone attaching a recipe to that apron? At the end of the year you all would have a nice cook book! Can't wait to see where it goes next.

How fun! Love the apron. Yes, even with all the crafting I've been working for the show, I was able to fit in baking an apple pie! My hubby's favorite pie.

Hugs

You look some cute wearing the apron in the bosom of your family... Baking weather here, too, though I must wait until Saturday morning because that's when I'll be in the bosom of my family. No sense of taking chances with not having enough because I baked too early and became too tempted. =D

What a fun idea!Fun to see where it has been and what it has been doing... I'm a collector (of sorts) of vintage aprons.
I've been baking apple crisp with apples we picked from the orchard. Fall is a great baking season as the weather gets cooler!
Have fun baking in your traveling apron!

It's baking weather here now, but I haven't yet baked anything. I keep thinking I'll make some apple bread or maybe some of those apple rollups using crescent rolls.
Great family photo! Have fun!

You look adorable in your apron!! It's definitely baking weather here (sadly) but this weekend I think I'm going to try a recipe I found for crockpot pumpkin chai tea. If it turns out well, I may take a batch to work on Monday to share with the gals in the office :)

Snickerdoodles! Yum! Do you have any extras?

I've been prepping/freezing Butternut Squash. Yesterday the 2 Butternut Squash Breads smelled wonderful while baking.

No wonder I love stopping by your blog!! You put a smile on my face and almost entice me to make some cookies! My hubbie and I are promising to lose weight so cookies will not be on the menu so very much for the next few months though. But you've got me dreaming!!!

I haven't had a chance to bake, but I do have a couple of new recipes to try this year. I'm really craving some home baked goodies! You have such a sweet family, and I bet the grands loved the cookies. If only that apron could talk! Oh the stories it could tell!
