One Tiny Barn for Barn Charm

We drove past this tiny little barn last month while we were in the mountains of NC.

PMDSCN6011

I thought it looked so perfect!

I only got one quick photo through the windshield on a cool misty day but I fell in love with it!

I do not hate you. You deserve such temperate weather after all those torturous days of summer. LOL!

Now that is an adorable barn perfectly situated.

Sweet header, you clever gal!

Adorable barn. Wonder what it was used for, chickens, maybe.
It is cold and a tiny bit of snow heading our way. I had all the heat I could take this summer.

I would be in love with this barn also. It is so cute and so lovely. And once upon a time it had a wonderful red roof, I think.

Very beautiful pictures!!!

Charming! I love the flags on the fence and the red leaves made for a beautiful pop of color on your cool misty day.
I'm a little envious at least of your 74 degrees. We are expecting an inch of snow tonight.

I don't hate you, but I am a little envious of your weather. It was only in the 40s today and dipped into the 30s tonight. The little barn is so cute and reminded me of one on my grandfather's property that he kept his tractor in. XOXO

I truly love barns. What a great shot you got of this little one! The art show photos are great, and I know you had a great time there. 74 degrees....really??? It's freezing here in Central Alabama today! :/

It's so charming. We're expecting a huge storm over the next several days with lots of wind and rain. 74 sounds nice right about now.

Yay! A barn and I've never seen one over the years :) The disadvantage of living in a crowded city. Thank God I have your blog to keep me my daily dose of that much needed greenery.

Hope you are having a great week name mate!

That IS a lovely barn photo! And it's pretty hard to imagine 74 degrees when it's 10 degrees and a biting wind. But am I complaining? uh, yeah, probably a bit. LOL

But I do not begrudge you the lovely Florida weather! My sister escaped the frigid north for Florida too. :-)

Diane, that barn is very cute. When we traveled last summer through Virginia, I made hundreds of such photos (through a dirty windshield), and it is so nice to look at those photos again.
74? I need to move to Florida, I love when it's warm... :)

This barn looks small but perfect, Diane!

We had rain today and it was in the 50's--not too bad for this time of the year!

Love your cute "old" looking snowmen!!! Also the barn was beautiful! I don't ever remember a fall like we are having, it is still in the 60's! Very unusual for Colorado! We need snow, it is so dry! It doesn't even seem like the holidays with these temps!! Love, Pat

You should see it now....there's a wreath hanging on the side of the barn facing the road, and garland with red bows on the fence. Festive, and ready for Christmas!
