I feel like a Lavender Princess today!
I moved my Lavender Dreams quilt from the back of the lanai sofa to the cushions to stretch out and enjoy my new Princess slippers.
My girlfriend Twyla from Two Crazy Crafters made them for me! She surprised me with this pressie! We have cold floors here in our home in Florida so they are just perfect. Usually I walk around with socks on but now I can be a Princess!
Lynn from Present Letters sent me a precious Christmas ornament that she made. I got this book from Amazon HERE and she gave me this as a Thank You.
I got them on the same day. So I declare myself Princess for the Day!
Want to join me? We can live the life of luxury together!
And have you read this book? It’s really good! My bookmark was made by Marcia at The Shop Around the Corner.
Aren’t blog buddies the best?

I just read that book about a month ago and really enjoyed it. I love Elizabeth Berg's books and your new lavender slippers are pretty spiffy too!
Hi Diane,
Oh how I love your knitted slippers!!
I use to knit slippers all the time, its been so many years since I have made them. How sweet and thoughtful of Twyla, so dear of her to knit them for you as a gift.
Now tell me about your quilt, did I miss a post about it. I will go back and try to find a post.
Have a lovely day being Princess for the day, I think you should be Queen for the day!.
XO Elizabeth
Hi Diane,
I found the post back in 2010..Your quilt is so beautiful. I know you must treasure it.
Have a sweet day, Elizabeth
So comfy and yes you are a Princess! Since we are sisters I'm a Princess also!! :) I think that books looks good. Enjoy! Hugs, Linda
How sweet! What cute little slippers.
Your blog hasn't been liking me. sigh.
The slippers look soft and so pretty. If your feet are getting cold in Florida, for sure you don't want to bare them in Southern Missouri. Sunny and pretty outside with all the birds singing and daffodils blooming. you'd think spring and warm. It's a lie, I tell ya. It's cold.
I absolutely love the colors of your quilt!

Those knitted shoe/slippers are so comfy. I knit and crochet for my husband these, too! You're one lucky girl.
What fun!! And I love those two pillows, especially the pink flamingo. I laughed when I read about your 'cold floors' in Florida. :-)
It looks like a good idea! Kicking your feet up. My floors are cold, might need those slippers.
You are indeed a sweet princess for sure with those pretty slippers. And they're just your color! And thanks for the book title, I love to read and I'll have to look for that one.
Thanks, too, for the sweet comment on my post today!
Hugs,
Cheryl
Blog buddies are the best - they make us and we them, all feel like princesses. Ann
My cousin used to crochet those for all of us cousins when we all lived closer to each other -- they are indeed SO warm and cozy! Although I really can't feel TOO sorry for you when you talk about cold floors in FLORIDA -- haha.
Pretty indeed! How thoughtful and kind - yes blogging friends are awesome!
Oh your slippers are so pretty!! I can see why you would declare yourself princess seeing how you were blessed with all those lovely things!!
