I love Seashells!
What can I say? I love everything about seashells! I love walking the beach and shell seeking, I like to sort them when I get home. And I surround myself with jars full and trays piled high.
But I’ve never painted my seashells!
I visited Upstairs Downstairs this week and saw the shells she had painted blue and I fell in love!
So off I went to get Apple Barrel gloss acrylic craft paint, in Real Navy. Thanks girlfriend for sharing your tips and your FUN!
I also stopped at the old Thrift Store and bought this little wooden tray for a quarter.
Someone make me STOP!!!
Pretty soon all of my shells will be some shade of BLUE!
I’m joining Time Travel Thursday ,

and Jann for Share Your Cup !
Have you ever painted something unexpected?
Like seashells?
It’s addictive!!!

Happy Friday x
oh my gosh they are beautiful! I think you're onto something big!I love them!
What a neat idea! Love the blue seashells.
I once painted and glittered pine cones.
Have a great weekend.
I've never thought to paint shells like that - cool idea. I like your little tray!
So much you can do with shells!! Like how you displayed you new blue shells. We always had hanging in our tree in the back yard a washed up tree branch with 5 or 6 fishing line of shells hanging and like a wind chime! I knew I was home when you could sit there and hear the wind blow and clang the sea shells against each other!!
LOL! I've painted, glittered and added "gems" to some of my shells!
It is FUN!
I wished I lived by the ocean! I LOVE the Beach and shells too!

Seashells! Been seeing them in the decor sections big time -you are ahead of the curve, always!
They are so pretty! Every time I find a shell I think of you! Wen I was little we lived in Hawaii and my mother and I had a favorite beach to find shells, some of my best memories!
Love your shells....the sand dollar is my favorite! Have fun!

You found a new calling painting your pretty shells.
What a pretty display! Don't you love getting inspiration from visiting someone's blog and then adding your own spin to it? I love what you did with your shells and the tray? Amazing find, lucky lady!!
So pretty, the colour of the deep, blue sea! Never would have thought to paint shells, lovely! Deb
They are lovely in your bathroom. I saw some recently on a blog that were painted white then glittered. They looked amazing on a silver tray with tea candles. So I did some too. I'm so pleased with them. The ideas are endless with shells, don't you think, and they are free. :)
Very crafty my friend. They look great.
Hope you have a happy weekend.
Hugs~
Very pretty!! I love the idea of painting shells!!
