All I care about is pillows.
I’ve been obsessed with them lately.
I made ‘new’ pillow shams for my bed! (I know…I know…I just made pillow cases last week!)
And oh how I love the way these turned out.
I was inspired by a couple of posts that Jen did on Lace Crazy! She is super talented!
This was a vintage tablecloth with just a faint stripe through the fabric. It has been washed many times and is so so soft! No stains or blemishes. I finished them off with vintage lace. And look how much fabric I had leftover after this project! (WHEW! That was close! lol)
But then I took all of the throw pillows off the two red sofas in the living room to start fresh and I’ve been making new pillow covers. I wish I could find some old needlepoint pillows with fringe like the ones on the red sofa in Downton Abbey. I’m going to keep looking!
The small pillow I made awhile back.

Oh my goodness, they are beautiful. I Love anything with lace. The end of the ruffly pillow cover hanging down - haven't seen it before and love it! You are a great pillow maker!!
Those turned out really nice! Love how they drape over the bed.

Love your pillowcases! What a fun way to change an area! Enjoy your day!
Very pretty, Diane. I am making pillowcases today, too, but for little boys so they won't be nearly as lovely.
You are just so talented. What a great idea! Joan
Wow what a lovely idea...so pretty.

So pretty and clever of you Diane!
Good Morning Diane,
I love your pillows/shams but I don't think you have anything on my son who has declared himself the "Pillow King"!
Sometimes I cannot find him in his bed for all the pillows....could be a problem when he becomes a true teenager?!?!
Enjoy your day,
Barb
These are so pretty!!!! Gosh you are having a good time making so many gorgeous pillows!
Simply beautiful pillows.
I love how pillows can change the look of a space.
So pretty! You are so talented!
They turned out GORGEOUS...
They look like they were purchased in a high dollar, designer store.
Love the crocheted ones and the little throw pillow on the bed too...
Glad you kept the ruffles long. I love lace & I love ruffles.
You done an AWESOME job on these~!
I hope you find the fringed material to complete. An old, fringed, vintage chenille bedspread repurposed into throw pillows might be an idea?
LOVE IT~!!!

Very nice Diane! Bedrooms are our private 'nests' and I quite understand a need to revamp now and then...After all we spend 1/3 of our day/night in them!
God bless,
The are oh so pretty! Love this look, soft and frilly!
Blessings,
Cindy
We will get you the help you need, Diane, for your obsession.... I love what you have done with these! My goal is to learn to make some new pillow covers because I like to change them too, but don't like to buy new pillows. Such a romantic look you've created. Ann
I adore those long, long ruffles!!
Well Diane, I can certainly relate to this being head over heels in ruffles and lace! Great job!
Right now I am working on photo albums for the grandkids, but I do want to make some pillows--also on my list to-dos. Which book did you find? and it is a woman--Phillipa Gregory. If you like British royal history, you love the book. Let me know which one you found and how you like it.
Those are gorgeous, Diane...Truly beautiful. You did a wonderful job- xo Diana
they are very pretty. We have lots and lots of pillows on our bed but none as fancy as yours.
Those are very unique pillowcases. I wish I had time for projects like that. Once I retire I will love sewing small projects.
SO pretty - makes me want to lay down and take a nap.
They are really pretty Diane. You are very talented with the sewing machine.
Hi Diane, you are so talented with making the pillows. I love the way they came out! I used to sew on a machine when I was little., but now I'm into crocheting. Wishing you a wonderful week.

They do add instant pretty to the bed, don't they?!
Oh my goodness, look at those ruffles...love, love, love!!! I need you to please live next door so that you can help me make a ruffle for my new burlap tablecloth. :) I purchased the burlap, cut it, and I want to add a white cotton ruffled trim to hang on the sides. Only problem is I DETEST sewing. I'm on Pinterest trying to find a shortcut to this madness. teehee I've seen some pretty alternatives made with ribbons, but I think having you as a neighbor would solve this in a blink. :)
