That is such a pretty bag! I am always using an old cloth grocery bag for my library books - this bag would be an enormous improvement!
I haven't read the book you're giving away but I have finished Peaches for Monsieur le Cure, by Joanne Harris - a very good read, indeed!

What a fun giveaway! I also read a lot this summer. But that is normal for me at any time of the year. I just read one that I loved. Fiction but lots of history. When We Were Strangers by Pamela Schoenewaloodt. Very good. Can you imagine learning to spell that last name as a kid or as a new bride!

Cute book bag. I am not the reader I used to be. Two of my daughters read all the time. Two seem to never have time. I used to start books and then not finish them...so now I'll at least skim through them. :):) xoxo,Susie

I like the bag, and reading too. I've just finished reading a spin off from the Count of Monte Cristo that was good.

Hi, Diane ... haven't commented in a while, but I have been reading your posts daily. Glad you're having a fun summer! THE book I'm reading, along with a multitude of other Susan Branch 'girlfriends,' is A FINE ROMANCE - the much-awaited travel diary of her trip to England last year. Delightful!

Would be thrilled to win your giveaway; thanks always for sharing.

Yikes I LOVE the bag you made! And the book looks great also! I would suggest the book that I've reread recently by Laura Frantz called "Love's Reckoning" and her next book in this series comes out in September. It is a historical romance but not gushy if you know what I mean. Her book giveaway ends August 29th. This is the first time I've done this...so much fun! :)

Beautiful bag.......so generous of you.

Thanks.

I am sorry, I said that the name of the book I was reading is wrong! It is the Shoemaker's Wife! I can't believe I said the wrong title it isn't the Shoemaker's Daughter. I hope that won't disqualify me! Lol! Wishing you a nice afternoon.

Try the Laurie R. King series about Mary Russell and Sherlock Holmes!
The Beekeeper's Apprentice started the series. LRK has two other series and some stand alones. I am a Sherlock Holmes fan so Laurie's take on a female apprentice that later becomes Sherlock's wife, yes, wife, is great fun. Laurie also puts the couple in far flung places which is fun!
Try L.R. Wright's work. The Suspect is very good. Jo Bannister also writes well. Both are female authors. The Jefferson-Bass writing team writes about the real body farm and mysteries set in Tennessee.
Can you tell I spend a lot of time on the printed page? :-)
