Good Fences #1 “Florida Style”

I know many think of the ocean and sandy beaches when they think of Florida, and oh how I love the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf Coast. But there are interesting things to see in the interior of Florida, too!

We drive past this beautiful gate on our way to Canaveral National Seashore.

I always look forward to seeing it!

And when we get there, it’s nice to see some of these!

Thanks Tex for the first Good Fences party!

I do think of sandy beaches and palm trees when I picture Florida just, I suppose, those who never been to Colorado think we are one big ski resort. Oh. I intend to buy some natural mosquito repellant that you mentioned. Here Mosquitos carry the deadly virus (drawing a blank on the name). Once mosquito season starts we cannot leave the house with out spraying down. I'd rather have a good natural relevant. Have a great week end.

What a beautiful entrance to the ranch - I'm surprised it doesn't have a paved driveway!!?

I love a good fence ... I grew up with some really horrible fences, and because of that I always admired the really sturdy fences every other farmer seemed to have! I do like this entrance way to what looks like a beautiful ranch. Will have to check out this link ... not your typical link party ;) Have a great weekend! Wendy x

Nice photos! Those shells are amazing!

Did you gather more? You could create a sea shell pathway as some do on our coast and I'm sure that it is done there, too. You are an excellent spokeswoman for Florida!

That is a really 'western' looking gate for Florida but it's very beautiful too. Gorgeous photos Diane!

Very cute! And you're right, I would never associate Florida with cattle, but I'm sure they're there:@)

I would love to see Florida but it will never happen as my husband has never had any desire to visit the States! Never the less we have the whole of Europe at our finger tips and so much history to look up :-)
Like the look of the anti mosquito cream, nothing here seems to work very well!! have a great weekend t'other Diane
