I know many think of the ocean and sandy beaches when they think of Florida, and oh how I love the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf Coast. But there are interesting things to see in the interior of Florida, too!
We drive past this beautiful gate on our way to Canaveral National Seashore.
I always look forward to seeing it!
And when we get there, it’s nice to see some of these!
Thanks Tex for the first Good Fences party!
Would you like to join us?

I do think of sandy beaches and palm trees when I picture Florida just, I suppose, those who never been to Colorado think we are one big ski resort. Oh. I intend to buy some natural mosquito repellant that you mentioned. Here Mosquitos carry the deadly virus (drawing a blank on the name). Once mosquito season starts we cannot leave the house with out spraying down. I'd rather have a good natural relevant. Have a great week end.
Oh yes indeed this is quite inviting, and what is that stunning and most beautiful green stuff?!
What a beautiful entrance to the ranch - I'm surprised it doesn't have a paved driveway!!?
Such a gorgeous ranch and it looks like it should be in Texas not FL. Love it!
wow! that is a GREAT gate! very texasy. :)
thanks so much for joining in the link-up! really appreciate it!
that is an awesome welcome!
WoW, looks a lot like Texas!! A gorgeous welcome, I would never expect to see that in Florida!!
Aww pretty hate..yup I wanted to come along happily :)
Sweet hugs x
HI that is one very impressive gate and entrance. I wonder who lived there! Have a great weekend.
I'd join you in a minute - you always find cool places to visit.
Oh that is beautiful! and then some....have a lovely day!
I love a good fence ... I grew up with some really horrible fences, and because of that I always admired the really sturdy fences every other farmer seemed to have! I do like this entrance way to what looks like a beautiful ranch. Will have to check out this link ... not your typical link party ;) Have a great weekend! Wendy x
It sure looks like a great place to visit. I love all your beautiful pictures.
Nice photos! Those shells are amazing!
Did you gather more? You could create a sea shell pathway as some do on our coast and I'm sure that it is done there, too. You are an excellent spokeswoman for Florida!
Oh, love that gate. Makes me want to go through it and see what's on the other side.
Oh I just love that gate, it's awesome! Tex has a great party going, doesn't she?
Have a great day!

That is a really 'western' looking gate for Florida but it's very beautiful too. Gorgeous photos Diane!
What a fun idea! I'm going to be looking for the gates in my neighborhood.
Love that gate and all that green. Love the sky colors, brilliant!
I can see why you look forward to seeing this. What a fun whimsical gate!!
Oh sea glass, so great! And from Canaveral? Is that where the rockets are launched? I hope you collected some!AriadnefromGreece!
Very cute! And you're right, I would never associate Florida with cattle, but I'm sure they're there:@)
Oh what a lovely visual treat you have blessed me with. It looks fantastic.
Have a wonderful weekend.
I guess Florida is know by it's sand and ocean, but there is more than that. Beautiful gate/entrance

Great fence photos, Diane! So glad you joined in.
I would love to see Florida but it will never happen as my husband has never had any desire to visit the States! Never the less we have the whole of Europe at our finger tips and so much history to look up :-)
Like the look of the anti mosquito cream, nothing here seems to work very well!! have a great weekend t'other Diane
Oh, that is a gorgeous sky too, Diane. My sis winters in Flordia. I think I'll fly down next Winter
