My second trip to a thrift store this year! (I didn’t shop for 2 whole months! lol) Half price day for linens and Christmas so my total was less than $10 and I got some things I really ‘needed’!
A new coffee mug from Pier 1 and it’s a design that I have a little dish already. How sweet to start Spring with this new mug.
And when you go the first time and find a wooden cigar box…
you’ll most certainly find another one the next time, too!
My favorite finds were this little towel
(folded in half)
and this old linen tablecloth.
(and yes, they both have a hole in them but I didn’t even care)
A BIG Christmas tablecloth with matching napkins…
and some Christmas pretties.
I know these say OLE right now but maybe I’ll find another one some day!
And this gorgeous platter that I’ll probably put a Spring vignette on.
All of this fun for under $10.
You can’t beat that can you?
Cigar anyone?

Fun finds-- love that sweet mug! Have any July/August birthdays in your family? Your angels could also spell "Leo."
Yes ,looks like fun to Me.Made Me smile that You'll wait to find the N for noel.Enjoyed visiting You.I always enjoy a good thrift day-Hugs Denise
You really did well. All of that for under $10. SWEET! I'll keep my eye out for the missing N. Hugs!
Great finds. I like the cigar box and the tablecloths. I have a weakness for tablecloths and need to find a way to repurpose them.
OLE could also be LEO. Or E.L.O. for the 70's band Electric Light Orchestra. :-) xo
Great treasures at a super price!! Love the tablecloths.....
Great finds!! I had that Santa that goes on a candle!! Pretty mug too!
Amazing finds! I will stop by in my favorite one tomorrow when I go to town. I always end up with books though for a quarter or a dollar, paperback - hardcover. But it is so much fun just to look at old stuff.
Love the linens. Holes never bother me either. xo, olive
cute little european blue tit on the mug. :)
Great thrifting! Love the tablecloths especially, and the mug is so sweet for spring.
Happy week!

Great finds. I am trying to break the thrift store habit, but my daughter eggs me on, but you have to have the right timing. I'd buy the vintage linens, too, because the new stuff may not have holes, but it also lacks the quality.
Hi Diane! Well, you did great after that sabbatical! :) Love all of your sweet finds.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Or it could say LEO... are you a leo? :-)
Great scores!
I love the mug! It does say Spring. I think I need to get out some of my springer mugs to make me feel less blue. Love the linens and the ole angels well you can always add a red N before them if the other angel does not show up. Someone had to save them! Big Hugs to you!
Linda
No you can't! "OLE" hahahahahahaaha....
You certainly found some nice treasures!
What some fabulous finds. I love the coffee mug...and the Christmas table cloth and napkins, and....the savings!

I hope you find the "N" - that's just too cute!!
You did well! I explored the local Salvation Army and had two great finds for under four dollars. I bought the serving dish -- very springy! -- for a gift, but I think it's staying here.
I think I'll pass on the cigar but I love the pretty vintage tablecloth. They always catch my eye. Have a nice afternoon. (Snowing here.)
LOVE your new treasures, especially that coffee mug!

Oh, I love those old linens, Diane! But most of all, I like that coffee cup. What a beauty.
Super duper finds! I couldn't beat that so no cigar for me! LOL!!
But the spring mug is soooo pretty!
Have a wonderful day!
Some great finds, Diane. I can't believe you stayed away for two months. That is some willpower. xo Laura
I think my fave is those choir angels but hard to pick :)
I liked the prior birds post too / just being lazy and combining my comments, ha ha !
That's an interesting old cigar box, Diane! It even has a metal clasp. The pretty design on the platter looks dainty.

You found many terrific items at the Thrift store, Diane. The carolers are sweet.
You know, Pier 1 Imports is my favorite shop of all. I go there every couple of weeks.
love,
~Sheri
What wonderful finds. A cigar box is really not easy to find. I have been looking for an old snuff/tobacco tin for years. The platter has a really pretty roses pattern :)
Nice scores and love that towel!!

Morning, what a nice find you have there. Think I will venture out to our good will today and see what I can find. Wishing you a nice day.

Nothing beats thrift store shopping! You made some great buys. I love the vintage towel...even with some damage!!!
Diane, you did great for $10! I especially love your mug and platter. I am hoping to hit the Goodwill on Saturday. (If I can drag my husband along...) :-)
Love all your thrifty finds! Got a chuckle out of your OLE!! I will keep my eyes open for an N as well....

Sewwhat!
Diane, I want to fly on down there and spend a day thrifting with you! What great finds, and for $10??? Wow! xo
I love that sweet little mug! Is that a little bluebird on it? It is so sweet! I want to see the plate, too!
Great finds. When I go to the thrift store I never find anything good. You are a lucky duck!
You always find such nice things, Diane, when you go thrift store shopping. I know there are big thrifts stores near where I now live but I haven't had the chance to go into look around as yet. I'm looking forward to seeing what I can find!
What lovely items you found! And I agree with so many comments above about what other words you can spell with the angels! :)
I, too, thought of the singing group ELO! AND, LEO, and OLE' !!
Oh, I'll pass on the cigar, but love the box!
I love your treasures! Maybe those are Mexican angels or they could have belonged to someone named Leo?
Great stuff!
