“Wacky Wednesday” Wee Ones!

It has felt like a few wacky days in a row. Long holiday weekends always confuse me and I’m having so much fun that I can’t remember which day it is.

I don’t show my ‘boy dolls’ very often and they are so smart (and I’m SO busy) that they are reading their own bedtime story.

IMG_4809

Don’t you LOVE these faces?

IMG_4812

Sweetness through and through.

IMG_4813

I’m a bit partial to boys after raising 4 sons.

So what am I doing that is so much fun? I have a new ‘toy’! Stay tuned! I’m ‘creating’ and can’t stop myself! But I’ll share soon and visit everyone…SOON! (mug rug created by my cousin, Cindy Winking smile)

What are you doing this week for fun?

Don’t forget to

Take Time to PLAY!!!

You probably know I do "Wacky Pack Wednesday" on my blog. I originally was just going to call it "Wacky Wednesday" until I came across this book title. I had never heard of it until a few years ago. Looks so cute! Four boys, eh?? Talk about Wonder Woman!!

Diane, I am kind of fond of girls, cause I raised 4 of them. LOL. But I love little boys too. Your dolls are adorable. Can't wait to see what you are making now. xoxo,Susie

The little boys are so cute. I could not imagine raising 4 boys, though mothers of daughters say boys are easier. We are working in the yard; so much to do, but we love it.

Let's see...what do I do for fun?...take photos and blog about them, for one! And oh my goodness, those "baby" boys are beyond adorable! I am partial to boys as well...2 sons, 3 grandsons, (then there's that little girl finally). The faces and hands on these doll babies are amamzingly realistic! You have an amazing collection!

Goodness! I never even knew about THAT Dr. Seuss book, but the parting shot sure is true of my kitchen.

Hi Diane, your boy dolls are adorable. I still can't believe that you raised 4 boys. I wish i could of had a boy too but I do love my daughter. I am just getting over today from a fever I had on Monday and Tuesday with a temperature of 103 at one point yesterday. This morning the fever broke so I'm going to take it easy this week. Thanks for stopping by my blog today and leaving the nice comment on my blanket I made. Have a nice day and week.

I love the boy dolls. I once took a doll making class and made one or more girl dolls for my granddaughters. And, I made one boy doll. He's moving into my new apartment with me to keep me company.

Diane,
The dolls are so cute. I see so many at the thrift that have been tossed away. I always feel sorry for them. Did you ever read the old book, "HETTY"? Its about 100 years in the life of a doll named Hetty. She had quiet a life.

Thank you for reminding me to play...I don't very much but I do love to work and all the years I worked outside the home now I just want to "play house". LOL! I can't wait to see what you're up to and look at your cute "boys". I had 3 boys and 1 girl. The mug rug is cute. I still say "by cracky" but I haven't heard others say it much. You always have such interesting posts. Later.......Sam

Sweet boy dolls. I want to know more about the french theme fabric. I believe that I may have some very similar to that or maybe a n embroidery pattern. Love your posts.

Was thinking about your pictures...I have seen very few boy dolls. They are a-doll-able!! I'm like you..I get confused with long weekends and time off. Daily chores around here makes for full time busy days..

It's nice to see boy dolls as they seem quite scarce. I've been wanting to play at jousting since watching this taking place on Monday. Can be a bit violent but I just love the larger horses. Have a wonderful week xx

Diane,
Your dolls' faces look so real. DR. SEUSS....HE'S MY FAVORITE! I love hearing a good quote from him. Looking forward to seeing your next project. I didn't realize you raised four boys - they are wonderful people, aren't they?

Your boy dolls are so sweet! I'm hurrying with my comments as there's supposed to be a big storm headed our way with high wind, hail, possible tornado, etc. Plus I have a sinus infection....so signing off.

OH Diane..I haven't a single boy doll! Not sure why, I just haven't found the right one I guess. Your's are all just precious! I should look for one..but when I find one I would like to have..it cost so much that I pass. I guess I just have to settle for my girl baby dolls.
So..what are you up too, my sweet friend? I know you are making something cute..I can just tell..who is your artist? Are they Lee Middleton dolls? They look like hers..or her artists.
I once heard she was inspired by her little grandchildren. :)

Did you make your boy dolls? Years ago, Mom and I made a porcelain doll each and we both have our second doll that has yet to be finished. I must get those babies together. Love your beautiful pictures!
