Decorating for Spring “How To”

I know there’s a ‘right way’ of doing things

and a…well, you know.

SpringdecframeIMG_3167

But this is my ‘how to’! lol

Take everything out of your one box of Spring décor and put it all on one table.

IMG_3497

That way it will be easier to put back in the box.

And you can walk by and move things around just for fun.

IMG_3172

Or go to the thrift store and find the cutest little goose and add even MORE to the already crowded table of pretty things.

IMG_3573

It helps to start with a vintage tablecloth.

This one says AVON on the tag.

SpringDecor2

I took photos of some of the scenes before I put all of my Spring things on top of it. (that was smart too, wasn’t it?)

I’m joining Beautiful Sunday and

Lavender Cottage for Mosaic Monday

and Amaze me Monday.

Happy Spring everyone! Bunny

Your table only says, "Happy." Love the little goose. A nice way to decorate for a short holiday.

Cute cute cute. We seem to decorate the same way - I put all my decorations on the sideboard and a few in the center of the dining room table. To some it looks crowded but I like the way it looks - and everything gets to be close to its friends. I've got my post almost ready about my decorating too. I love the new header - you have the very cutest things. I've never seen an avon tablecloth - that is just darling. Yesterday we were in a thrift store that had zillions of spring/easter things - but mostly they were the plastic eggs and I don't need any more of those.

Cute cloth! Like those little wooden "cars" too. I'm not smart and put stuff around my living room and dining room. Much more of a challenge to put away!!

Love the vintage tablecloth Diane - Avon used to sell some nice, quality items back in the 70s.
I like your idea of everything in one place on the table too rather than spread out like I have it. When it's time to pack up (any season) there's always something left behind.
Thank you for linking to Mosaic Monday.

What a festive Easter table, Diane. You even put some books out for décor. I know how much you like the Golden Books - do you remember The Fuzzy Duckling? I just saw it the other day and had to buy it. I used to read it to the kids.

The little yellow ducklings on your table are so cute. Have a very nice Easter week, my friend.
