‘Story Telling’

I’ve made up stories in the past but now I don’t usually take the time to write my ideas down.

I feel like there’s a story this week.

Opal is modeling her new outfit.

JoAnn and I both used the daisy fabric to create a new doll outfit for our sewing challenge. Her blog is HERE.

And Ana from A Petite Cottage has a vintage doll to show us today too! Visit her HERE!

I found a remnant of black linen and made the mini skirt first. Then I got brave and made a jacket.

It wasn’t easy but I love the way it turned out.

Do you read Linda Kay’s stories on Wednesday on Senior Adventures? I know I should write stories for my dolls. But where should I start? How about some help?

Opal dressed in her beautiful black linen suit, grabbed her new purse and went…

WHERE?

Love your doll-and I really love your idea of telling stories for your dolls. Just get a notebook or pen and paper and start writing-this could work into something awesome for you and your readers-could even try one of your stories on kindle and see how it goes-hugs

Well you started the story, perhaps all your readers can continue it ... like that game we used to play as kids, each person adding a new line to the story.

where? ... She had read about the new art exhibit at the local art gallery, and she didn't want to miss it! She printed off her on-line ticket, and didn't forget the coupon for the gift store, and off she went out the door giving herself lots of extra time ... but! ...

There once was a doll walking through a field of daisies and she got very tired after awhile and fell into a deep sleep.

Next .....fairies discovered her and turned the daisies into a dress? :)

Probably to grandmother's house to show off her new outfit. Kinda dull, but that's the first thing I thought of. Very cute!

What a cute idea - I think she is ready for travel and adventure. The fabrics you used are perfect and I love her little purse. The daisy fabric was such fun to sew with - can't wait for next week.

Well, Diane, how about where your little Opal is headed out in her new outfit. She looks adorable. Is she meeting someone new for a coffee, or is she headed out to meet a lover? You can do this!

Opal met up with her girlfriends for a lunch date at a fabulous new place... then they went shopping for some new shoes and debated about whether to catch the new flick or get a mani-pedi. Guess which one won out?!!! By the way, all the girls were envious of Opal's new outfit!

Opal is headed out the door to Sephora. That pretty lipstick she's wearing is running out! Then she's meeting a friend for lunch and a movie. She's so glad she has a jacket because sometimes the theatre get chilly.
Cute outfit!

Well she is adorable in her new outfit and is headed to the antique mall to shop for vintage earrings to compliment it. She might take a detour to Starbucks along the way, oh, and maybe the library... She looks like a reader to me.

I love the daisy fabric for the dolls. Opal looks lovely in her outfit, the jacket turned out very nicely. She does look like she might be ready for a job interview, that would be a fun story to weave.
