The Mountains of NC!

It’s a beautiful time of the year to spend in the mountains of North Carolina. The air is dry and cool and the mountains are majestic.

(photo straight out of the camera!)

These were all taken from our balcony. One of the first things I did when we got here is clean the balcony furniture and load the glider with throws and pillows. I’ll spend a lot of time on the balcony with my camera close by. (we both sat out there and read our Miss Marple mysteries yesterday afternoon)

I’m joining Beautiful Sunday and

Lavender Cottage for Mosaic Monday.

I hope you have a beautiful weekend! We’ll be out and about enjoying our time here. I’ll be on the computer a little less but I’m anxious to keep up with your news too.

So how are you?

What’s new with you?

I have always wanted to see those mountains and Asheville. Thank you for sharing these gorgeous photos. You captured that mist that always seem to surround them. Blue mist, so lovely.

I haven't been to the Smoky Mountains since I was in college. Did I tell you my grandparents lived in Gastonia? I remember the wonderful road trips we would have going from Texas to NC. I'd love to go back again.

Have you gone to see A Walk in the Woods? Lots of cussing but it was a good movie, I thought.

OH such glorious views. I'd be on the deck all the time too. We are entering a cooler and wetter period - seems our warmer summer temperatures are actually giving way to autumn weather. It has been a glorious summer for sure.d

I am working on doll clothes - trying to keep up - and having fun fun fun.

Enjoy your mountains my friend.

Oh My Goodness, there it is ;) This morning after posting my weekly post on here, I always share it on Facebook and also my photograph page on there. This morning an image popped up as mine, but it wasn't and I thought, where did that come from? It is one of yours ;) I don't think that it transferred over into my actual post, but it was a first. Your images are breath taking beautiful and I love that area of our country too. Happy Week~

My best friend moved to Asheville and I miss her so much! I love NC, and your view is so pretty. We're getting ready to start enjoying our patio and outdoor fireplace soon. The nights are beginning to get a little chilly on our mountain!

Miss Marple mysteries. I don't think I've read one of those....can you believe it?

What a great view and Miss Marple? Perfect! I love your pics but that plane looks like it's going to crash (I'm hoping it didn't!)...it just looks that way. It actually looks rather tropical in that picture and reminds me of when I was in Belize. Enjoy your time there!
