Need help with bird ID! Updated with positive ID!

I'm going to show you several photos. This bird didn't stay still very long. He was fishing and jumping all over the place. 

At first we see this....

 

and then he turns his head for a nice pose.

 

And then another one.

 

Now he's off into the vegetation...

 

and a little harder to see.

 

One of my best ID shots was a little blurry....

 

but can you see his striped neck and spotted breast in this one?

 

He looks like a giraffe!

 

I wish this one was in better focus!!!

 

And to make it even harder, I'll show you the one I took of him in flight!

 These were taken at Blue Run Park in Dunnellon, Florida. If you know what he is, I'll update my post with a positive ID!

A Tricolored Heron 
  I'll quote Anni from I'd Rather be Birding, "With the blue color and the white belly I'd be 100% sure it's a tri-color heron."

We are so happy to have seen this beautiful bird. It was a bit smaller than a Great Blue Heron and with the distinct coloring on his neck and breast, we felt sure he was something different or maybe a juvenile. This is the first Tricolored Heron we've been able to photograph and positively id since we've lived in Florida for 11 years! Now we'll know the difference! Thanks so much for the wonderful response!
