We drove out to the Ocala Flying Model Club one Sunday afternoon and had such fun watching the planes fly!
The airplanes are all beautiful and it looks like a fun hobby for any age.
It was just amazing to sit on the bench and enjoy the variety of planes.
This was my favorite and it flew like a jet plane!
I’m surprised I got any of the airplanes in my photos.
They were moving so fast!
The drones were neat to watch too!
(I think I’ll put one on my ‘wish list’!)
I’m joining Monday Social HERE

Hello, you have some great shots of the model planes in flight. I love the sky and plane mosaic. Looks like a beautiful day! Happy Monday, enjoy your new week ahead!
We had great fun with model planes when our son was younger...he loved them and I'd watch him build one, with time and love, and watched it crash on it's maiden flight...he'd just pick it up and rebuild and fly again...awesome memories
Oh that does look like fun! Thanks for sharing at Monday Social.
What a fun way to while away some time sitting in the sunshine watching the model airplanes and just look at that blue sky, wonderful.
Happy Mosaic Monday.
They do look like a lot of fun :)
That would be a fun hobby to take up, you and your hubby could have matching planes.
Sounds and looks like a wonderful adventure ♥

I'm sure these are dedicated folks. My nephew once was involved, not sure if he still flies the models. He used to build them.
This sounds like a wonderful, fun day watching the model planes. Amazing how fast they go. Happy Monday! Have a great week.
Looks like fun!
That's a beautiful post and lovely photos !!
Greetings
I still hold out for my dream of owning my on Lear. I need to sell a lot of books.
I can't recall the number of times I've taken a photo of a plane or a bird, only to see just blue sky when it gets uploaded to the computer. You got some good captures Diane.
You could really get into trouble with a drone, Diane!
I bet you had a great time watching the planes, they are so amazing.
I got to see the Blue Angels as a teenager and what a show.
That first plane is so colourful isn't it!
I do like the way you've made mosaics of your photo's - they look great.
Model planes, boats and trains are always fun to see.
All the best Jan
This does look like fun. We knew a little old man who did this and he just loved it. It was serious play! ;) Thanks for popping in to see me and it's good to be back! I know, won't we miss Pat so much? I was praying each day that she would get better. She went so fast.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Lovely lovely header my dear. What fun to watch all the planes - you did well capturing them. There is a model plane club here but it is out in the desolate country - very dry and dusty - and really no place to sit and watch. You club is much prettier. One time we pulled up across an irrigation ditch to watch the planes. One fellow decided to get silly and kept flying his plane closer and closer to our car - swooping down - until one time he swooped down too far and the plane hit the side of the irrigation ditch - ka-blooey. That poor plane was smashed to bits. I think he was then a tad embarrassed - as he had to come around towards us to retrieve the broken plane. We drove off so as not to embarrass him any worse. I doubt he would try that again. Most of the planes were fun to watch as they soared through the sky.
You have more fun enjoying life, Diane! The planes would be such fun to watch.
Enjoy your week!
Model planes ARE fun. My husband was into them for several years when we lived in Ecuador. He enjoyed building them (and repairing them when they crashed) almost as much as flying them. We still have a box of them in the basement, but he hasn't used them in many years. It's fun to watch the antics of these little planes swooping and soaring through the sky. Great photos
very fun!
This does look like a fun day under the beautiful blue sky! The planes are all so different and colorful, too. Years ago when I was a little girl, my uncle had a model plane (powered by gasoline in those days). He would fly it in my Grandmother's field and one day when the whole family was visiting, it crashed and started a fire in the dry grass. I remember watching all my relatives run out with brooms and blankets and rugs with my poor Grandma yelling, 'Oh, not my best quilt.....', but they put that fire out themselves and no, they didn't use my Grandma's quilt :) Sending hugs xo Karen
A fun day and great pictures! Beautiful planes under beautiful Florida sky. Pretty sweet way to practice flight shots for a photographer too!
What fun!
Gorgeous landscape shots! What a lovely place ~ thanks ^_^
Wishing you a happy week ~ ^_^
That sounds like a fun day. I'll have to see if they have something like that here in Texas. Thanks for linking up to Monday Social.
This sounds like a great new hobby for you and your hubby!
Diane,
What a great way to spend a Saturday. Thank you for joining Monday Social.

Oooh, prop planes, prop planes! :)
Looks like a fun hobby. We pass by a field where they fly these. My brother looked into it for his grandson, but they are quite costly.
Your weather looks beautiful. Hope you have a lovely weekend.
