I am so excited to share this first one with you! Arlene from Nanaland showed her Himalayan Salt Lamp HERE and I decided to order one. I’ve wanted one for years and they are finally more affordable! YAY!
And I really love it! I like the nice glow it gives off and it will be even better in the winter months when it gets dark so early.
I placed it on my glass table in the dining area that is between my kitchen and the lanai. We have the most problem with dust in this area. So I purposely did NOT dust for a week! And it worked! There was hardly any dust where I had been dusting every day!
I ordered mine from A*ma *zon and they have lots of info and benefits in the listings.
We also order our coffee online now. It’s exciting to get these big bags of coffee beans. (we mix ours to make it half caf)
And now we have a smaller coffee bean grinder and it’s quicker and easier to use. YAY!
Well, that’s all the excitement I can bear to share today!
Come by for a cup of fresh brewed coffee and we’ll sit at the kitchen table and stare into the salt lamp!
Hey you…get out of there!
(it doesn’t take a whole lot to entertain me, if you haven’t guessed that already)

What do you mean you didn't dust? Why don't you need to dust because of the lamp?AriadneromGreece!
I'm easily amused too :)
Fab lamp but don't understand the not dusting part, shall have to Google it.
Enjoy your coffee, happy MM!
I love those salt lamps too. I am sure there are many that think we are crazy, but I really believe they help with the dust.
AND I love your new header. It is so cute.
So glad you like your new salt lamp Diane. They have become more affordable and are a real allergen/dust catcher. Will have to check out that coffee!!
I really like that lamp, Diane! I am a big fan of low-light accents in a room. I love the warm and cozy glow too, especially in cool weather. Have a great week!
cool lamp--I have asthma and I have been reading allot about use the pink salt as an inhaler-I have a small one and it works! thinking of getting a bigger one that is more like a table one and looks easier to use who knew? lol
I quite enjoyed your "visit" to A-Ma-Zon! I love visiting there, too. Yeehaw! Happy Monday!
Hello, the lamp is pretty. I love coffee but usually buy the coffee already grounded. I do not like dusting and would love to find a way to make the dust disappear. Happy Monday, enjoy your new week!
Hi Friend,
I have always wanted one of those lamps!! What do you mean about the dust? The lamp collects it for you? Really!!! I for sure need one of these lamps. ;-)
We order our coffee on line too. So much fun to get that package in the mail. :-))
What a lovely lamp, I'd love to stop by for coffee and a chat and view your lamp.
Oh I love that lamp. It is so pretty! I could spend hours just looking at it.
Diane, You gave me a good laugh...that little frog. I need a bunch of those lamps if you don't have to dust.LOL. I hate to dust. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
I've been looking at the salt lamps for ages but wasn't sure if I'd like one, and yes they cost a lot of money. Too funny with the froggy sitting on yours. I read on another blog how you didn't have too much effect from Mathew, thank heavens.
Hope the salt lamp brings you wonderful energy. Happy Fall!
The salt lamp looks cozy for cooler days - almost like having a little fire on your table. Love your new mosaic header - you did a great job!
You and Arlene are making it hard for me to resist one of these lamps. Very pretty and I'm all for NOT dusting!
It's that time of the evening when a cup of coffee sounds delicious.
I enjoyed your blog post very much this evening.
Love your shots and words. OOO I want one!
I love those and have thought about getting one, too. Wasn't sure how much was hype and how much was true. lol I love the soft warm color or yours. Enjoy your week-xo Diana
Lava lamp? No dust? I am going to have homework to do now?
Diane, I need to look into those salt lamps more. Yours is gorgeous! Do you order your coffee beans from Amazon too? My husband likes the whole coffee beans and grinds them with his grinder.
I'm with Vee...doing my homework. That sounds very cool!
I've wanted one of those salt lamps too! they were really expensive several years back so I stopped looking at them. Amazon is a jewel and do belong to Amazon Prime? Just curious if you do and what you think of it? Love your purchases!
I had to do some research about salt lamps and allergen/dust collectors. Not only is it a cool looking lamp, but I didn't realize all it's magical powers! Awesome. Thanks for sharing.
I'm easily entertained too! And *usually* I'm not the jealous type, but I want that lamp...I need that lamp....after we get back to Florida though, because .... dust since our screen room is open to the house most of the time.
I like all your favorite things and the lovely way you arranged them !
I have never heard of these Himalayan Salt Lamps before. Thank you for that, I get tired of dusting all the time. Looks like you had fun and took note of the coffee and grinder too :)
That coffee sure does look good. I am such a coffee lover. Your Himalayan Salt Lamp is very cool, Diane. :)
