I look forward to Thursday mornings all week long!
I can stop at the Farmer’s Mkt and get all kinds of wonderful fruits and veggies, most of them organic!
I wish you could tell how big these grapefruits are! And the avocada!!! (I put a few small tomatoes and oranges out to give some comparison.)
And even visit with the vendors now that I’m a ‘regular’.
(a sweet lady that makes beautiful flower arrangements)
Then I can drive over to Shalom Park and walk.
It’s right ‘next door’!
And our Farmer’s mkt runs all year long! YEA!!!
I’m joining Mosaic Monday HERE.

Love Farmers Markets, everything is always fresh and tastes good, too. We are thrilled to be at the early planning stage of a trip to Florida next July, with my sister and her family and it would be great to go to a market like this one for fresh grapefruit to enjoy at breakfast.
Happy Mosaic Monday!
Hello, your farmers market sounds nice. I love grapefruits, avocado and tomatoes YUM! The park is a pretty spot for a walk. Happy Monday, enjoy your day and the new week ahead!
I know just what you mean about your farmers market ... i have two to pick from all year and don't know what i'd do without them. i love grapefruit and avocado. happy monday and a merry merry merry.
What a pretty place to take a walk, and how nice to have a farmer's market year round.
Wishing you a lovely week.
Connie :)
Haven't seen those grapefruit in the store here as yet, but how fun to spend Thursday morning!
That is one of the nice things about living in a mild climate....the year round farmers markets! I look forward to grapefruit season and now that it is here - yeah!
I just know I'd love your farmer's market too. Everything looks so pretty! We've got some sunshine today and wonderful blue skies. I"m hoping for snow for Christmas! Its a pain to get gifts wrapped though...tiring! Our cat tries to help by sitting her plump rump right where I'm wrapping. She knows how to get my attention all right.
I am so jealous. We love avocado. I would like to eat a fresh one, and what I mean by that, I know to ship them to the super markets here in Wisconsin, they can not be natural ripe.
When I visit, fresh avocado ;-) oranges, grapefruit and hiking. All on my list. :-)
Love ya, Diane have a great week!
Carla

Weather looks great there :)
How nice to have a Farmers Market all year long. Ours are usually June through October
Enjoy

That is nice to have year round Farmer's Market. Must say something about your weather. Those grapefruit look ginormous! Have a good week.
I ma looking forward to the Honeybells being in the stores here in January!!
Diane, What a good day you will have visiting the venders and taking home some good produce. Plus getting to see the park. Sounds like a great day to me. You know yesterday afternoon it snowed here and today it got up to 43 and this evening was just beautiful...I have been spoiled by the awesome fall we had this year. Blessings to you and your sweetie, xoxo, Susie
Mmm . . . I love grapefruit! How nice to have a farmer's market. Ours is only through the summer here. Love to visit and take home all that nice locally grown produce!!
Great place for walking. : )
I can't wait to go to the weekly farmers market in Florida again, like yours there is lots of good fresh produce. As for avocados, the tree in the side yard of the house we rent was loaded this year and I had trouble giving them away. The turkey vultures and iguanas helped us out. :-)
Hopefully we can find a nice park for walks too, Shalom Park looks clean and well maintained.
We have such a short farmer's market season here. About 3-1/2 months long. Lovely park and that avocado is crazy big! xo Diana
Yes, a year-round Farmers Market puts our pitifully short growing season into perspective. You have me wanting a grapefruit with maple syrup...yum.
Sounds like a fun day ~ both places are great and neat photos! thanks!
Wishing you a Happy Week ~ ^_^
We're sitting in Eugene airport right this minute waiting to board our delayed flight for the first leg of our trip to the land of sunshine and beautiful big grapefruit!
Send over some of those grapefruit...my mouth is watering!!! ;-)
Jane
hello; Farmers Markets looks SO decent and clean with fresh products♪ Venders' place is already decorated for Christmas, so beautiful♡♡♡ Shalom Park must be wonderful to enjoy walking(♡^.^♡)
Have a wonderful week and thank you very much for stopping by.
Sending Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan to my Dear friend in America, xoxo Miyako*
Good Morning Diane, and it is always such a treat to hear from you. I love fresh grapefruit and I enjoy them often. I am thinking though that the ones we get in our market are quite small compared to the ones you have shared. We so love avocados here and it is kind of funny...when we lived in Miami Florida back in the 70's Bill's grandparents had then falling off the trees, there were so many. No one in the family, including us ate them...oh the waste of not knowing! I hope that you have a wonderful week my dear one~
We have Farmer's Market twice a week in town, but we just don't get there enough. I think we need to fit it into our schedules.
Enjoy your beautiful winter days.
I love farmers market, everything looks so beautiful and delish. Sounds like your Thursdays are perfect. That park looks beautiful.
Sending blessings,
Marlene
It's a wonderful thing to have to look forward to!
Looks to me like a really nice way to spend a day! i love avacadoes too, I never really knew about guacamole and all that until a few years back, and now I can make a batch and it's pretty good. Not great, but okay. How bout you?
How lovely to have so much fresh produce all year long - I'll take some tomatoes and a bunch of avocados please - plus some lemons. Might as well get a pretty flower arrangement at the same time. Our Farmer's Market is and indoor/outdoor event and is open most of the year but closes in January and February. Then the seedlings and plants start showing up - as well as lots of handmade goodies - soaps, foods, knit items, etc. As long as it is produced on a farm it can be in the Farmers' Market. Enjoy all of your delicious freshness my friend, while we shiver in 20 degree weather (but oh my the frost is beautiful).
Looking back at older posts well done to Debby Ray.
Great photo of the White Ibis
Always like seeing your mosaic's and other photo's. Your mosaic is lovely.
All the best Jan
What a delightful time at the Farmer's Market on Thursday mornings. My dad used to love grapefruit, and it's such a healthy food. I will get some the next time I'm at the store. Thanks for reminding me, Diane. :)
