Coffee or Tea?

Do you use a different cup for your tea and coffee?

I like to use this one for my coffee …

and this one for tea!

I know there are some special teas at this time of year. Have you tried any that you would recommend?

And I found this little bowl at the thrift store and thought it was perfect for my afternoon snack.

I like to have a small portion of yogurt with fruit (strawberries from the Farmer’s Mkt) on top most afternoons and I think it taste better now!

And aren’t these coasters cute?

Another thrift store find.

Let me know if you drink a hot tea that you like and would recommend!

Stay warm and enjoy your day!

I'm surprise you aren't drinking your tea out of a tall glass over ice ;))). The strawberry and yogurt snack looks wonderful and those "winter" berries are one of my many favorite things about being here!

Honey Lavender tea with a teaspoon of honey added in. Great for our cold New England days.

Your sis is a tea granny and at this time of year I'm enjoying many Christmas blends as well as Roasted Chestnut which was part of a surprise tea gift from our daughter.
Hugs and wishes for a Merry Christmas.

Lovely teacups and finds! I do use a different cup for tea and for coffee. I am not sure if you have an HEB store in your area, but their coffee brand Cafe Ole' ......San Antonio flavor is wonderful! I love all kinds of hot tea as well.......there is a passion mango but I cannot remember the brand name.......it is wonderful! Have a merry Christmas and wonderful New Year!

Your home looks lovely and ready for Christmas, Diane!
I drink mainly coffee, but since cardamom is Christmassy and very nice in coffee, it could be interesting in tea as well. :)
Merry Christmas!

I am not a tea drinker. I am one of those strange people (yes-I know- I AM strange-thank you) that has a reaction to tannin (tannic acid). But I LOVE my coffee!!! You found some really cute things -but then you always do. xo Diana

Hello Diane!
Your images are fantastic and beautiful cups.

I drink tea in a mug and coffee in the cup.
Dessert looks very appetizing. I have a great desire to eat it.

Such sweet mugs! I have to use a larger mug for my coffee because I brew the largest cup on my Keurig & also add cream, so need extra room. I use my smaller mugs for tea, which I like plain.

Any tea by: Republic of Tea, is delicious. Their tea is so good, excellent quality. Love hibiscus, and they have a large range. Also anything with apple, cinnamon, cranberry like flavors.

Fun post!

Tea always tastes best in a china mug or cup, in my opinion. I don't drink coffee so I don't have to switch mugs! I enjoy Twinings teas - Earl Grey, Lady Grey, English Breakfast. All delicious. Lately, I've been enjoying a cup of Chai tea (decaf) with hot milk in the evenings.

Tea is wonderful!

I drink coffee in the morning and hot tea the rest of the time. I like Lady Grey tea. I make a pot of tea with one bag of Liptons and 1 bag of Lady Grey. Kind of strange, but I love it and it's all I drink.

Don't drink coffee but I do like tea and I like to drink it in a china cup. Tastes better somehow. I like all the herbal teas.

I enjoy a honey chamomille tea in the afternoons. Both your mug and tea cup look darling to me and I am not at all surprised that your yogurt tastes better in the pretty dessert dish.

Although I own a large collection of cups and saucers from my mom and mother-in-law, my tea and coffee both go in mugs. I like Constant Comment tea and the Stash brand of green chai tea. I'm trying to incorporate more green tea into my diet as it has so many health benefits. The only problem is I find a lot of them to be rather blah.

I love coffee but I do enjoy tea in the afternoons. Lately I have been enjoying Good Earth tea - simply because my good friend passed away a couple of weeks ago and we both liked to sip that tea, which was her favorite. I find myself, sipping and smiling as I remember my friend.

I do like to use different cups and have way more than I can use for either morning coffee or afternoon tea.

I love my coffee and enjoy hot tea in the winter and yes I like a heavy mug for coffee but a lighter china cup for tea! I'm a Earl Grey & Lady Grey fan and I also enjoy Constant Comment a nice spicy tea. Your home is looking so festive. I'm a little under the weather today so I know a cup of tea will be enjoyed soon!
hugs, Linda

I don't have any but I was looking on Coffee Bean Direct and David's Teas. I haven't ordered anything yet. David's Teas comes highly recommended but I haven't tried Coffee Bean Direct yet. I also was looking for a Christmas mug..one of those big bowl style ones but I haven't found one yet that I've fallen in love with. Anthropology had a cute reindeer one but by the time I heard about it they were gone. I like the old vintage style ones. I wish I still had the Santa Claus mugs my Aunt made. I have no idea what happened to them....they might have been my Mother's though. Oh well, it's fun to shop around on the internet even if you don't buy anything! LOL! Happy Holidays!

Love that red cardinal cup, Diane. It's perfect for a nice hot cup of coffee. :) To answer your question, I usually use the same cups for tea and coffee. I have different cups, but we all have our favorites, don't we?
