You’re #1 !!! The Giveaway Winner!

I used random (dot) org to pick my Shopping Giveaway Winner!

And it picked #1 !!! Debby Ray, you WON!

Her blog is My Favorite Things. She’s such a sweet blogger friend and always inspires me with her amazing photos and beautiful blog! It doesn’t seem like the number ‘1’ wins very often!

Congratulations!

I’ve been decorating some already. Have you?

I am also reading Christmas books this month. I think this is a fun tradition, something we can all do for ourselves. Right now I’m reading The Christmas Letters by Lee Smith. It’s just a short book and an easy read. I just finished another book by Lee Smith that I would highly recommend, Guests on Earth. I gave it 5 stars in my Goodreads review!

So I’ve put a few books out on our coffee table. (it’s a big square table)

Most I’ve read but I’ll enjoy reading them again.

A Scrapbook of Christmas Firsts is by my blog friend, Terra. Her blog is HERE and it’s a delightful book. When I went to her blog just now to get a link to her blog, I read her latest post. Her husband died unexpectedly two weeks ago so please keep her and her family in your prayers. I am so sorry, Terra. My heart goes out to you.

And don’t forget about Delivering Dreams by Lori Preusch. It would make a wonderful gift for someone special! A link to her website is HERE.

Congrats to the winner, you are right #1 doesn't win that often! I will put some of these books on my list to check out. I'm reading but also getting ready to narrate the Choirs special holiday presentation. I still need to put up my tree also!

I'm happy that Debby Ray won! She takes the most wonderful pictures. I'm so sorry to hear about Terra's husband. She was one of my very first blog friends, and so dear to me. Off to visit with her now.

So happy that Debby won! (She might need to buy a lottery ticket as she seems to be on a roll. =D )

On an entirely more somber note, I am so sorry to read about your friend's loss. Thank you for telling us because too often fellow bloggers do not know these things. It is very shocking for them to learn out of the blue.

I'm reading a Corrie ten Boom book.

Congratulations to Debby! #1 so seldom gets picked! I just read a couple of short novels by Anne Perry with Christmas themes and I'm looking for more.
Thanks for the book recommendations. I'm so very sorry to hear about the death of your friend's husband. Never an easy time.

I am not reading. Just don't have the time. I picked up Harper Lee's second novel, but haven't had time to even browse through it yet. After the holidays, I guess.

Congrats to Debby. 'Love your Christmas books. Well, I am not currently reading any books. Internet seems so much easier, lol. Yet, I am an advocate of reading the written word. Yes, we have begun holiday decorating already. Once it's after Thanksgiving, it's not too soon, lol.
