I am so very blessed to have so many wonderful blog friends.
Thanks to those of you who take the time to write and send cards. I cherish each and every one!
Recently I won a Giveaway at Hob Nobbers and Sandy sent me a package filled with goodies!
An antique bowl, butter paddle and a beautiful magazine. They have lots of wonderful antiques in their Etsy shop HERE.
I love the sweet little card too.
Even the packaging was pretty!
Danice from Homespun Hannah’s sent me a birthday gift too.
What a nice surprise…all things Lavender! She and I have been penpals for a long time and I love the postcards and notes she sends all through the year.
Diane at Diane Writes sent me a postcard from the Phillipines. She and I have been ‘namemates’ for as long as we’ve had blogs!
Sending you love and prayers, my friend!
And here’s a gift that we can all enjoy!
My Florida blog friend, Mac has written a beautiful short story and is giving it away to us all FREE HERE! (while the offer lasts! heehee) He’s written other books you can buy online. Just look at his blog for beautiful nature photos of Florida and links to his books. R. Mac Wheeler, his blog is HERE! Thanks Mac!
I’m joining Thankful Thursdays.

I did go read the short story. And you're right. Sort of stays with you after you've read it.
Blogging friends are so wonderful. True friends. Love all the gifts you received.
Happy Belated Birthday, Diane. Aren't blog friends a treasure! Your gifts are so sweet.
Well, I must have missed your birthday so Belated Happy Birthday! How fun that you won the Give Away close to your B-day. So, uuummm, that was your present. LOL Thanks for sharing the link to my shop!
Have a wonderful "upcoming" weekend. After having 60 degree weather here (a record for Feb.) we will be having another snowstorm with 12-20 inches of snow. That's how it is in Minnesota!
What lovely mail you've received. Blogging friends are wonderful!
What lovely gifts and sweet sentiments! You have some very talented friends!
Happy Belated Birthday Diane! Hope it was lovely! So many pretty things you've received! I would have to agree that blogging friends are the best!I have saved all my sweet gifts, cards and notes from blogging friends and they are in a special box. Every once and a while I sit down and look at them all and read the cards. It's heartwarming actually! Hope all is well Diane!

What lovely gifts, Diane, and so fun to receive something besides bills in the mail! :-) I hope you have a wonderful Thursday. xo
What a wonderful and generous collection of lovely things you have shared. Beautiful photos and wonderful thoughtfulness. How nice of your friend to share her story.
Happy Belated Birthday!
Yes, blog friends are the best! I'm going to meet one in person next week. This will make 7 I've met in person. I've often thought that if I was a fabulously rich millionaire I'd love to rent a cruise ship and invite all my blogging friends. Wouldn't that be amazing?!
Still, it is wonderful to have the internet to practice the old-time art of pen-paling (if that's a word!) through blogging. xo Deborah
Congrats on the giveaway win! The kindness and generosity of blogging friends never ceases to amaze me. I'm a former stamp collector so I enjoyed seeing the interesting postage from your packages.
Blogging friends are the best! They showed you that they love you by all the gifts you have rec'd. I am wondering how they got your address? You are a blessed blogger!
soooo fun, i LOVE snail mail and pretty packages!!!
Blog friends are the best! I do think that blogging has somewhat taken the place of penpals, a kind of virtual friendship that has brought so many amazing women into my life! Happy belated birthday :)
Hello Diane,
How blessed you are to have such friends. Then again one must be a good friend in order to attract good friends. I adore you antique bowl and spoon.
Hope you have a great weekend.
Helen xx
Aren't we a blessed community! I love getting packages and letters in the mail too.
Happy Belated Birthday I hope it was extra special!
Hugs,
Jemma
Very thoughtful gifts!
I wish you a blessed weekend.
Belated birthday wishes dear Diane!
How kind our blogging friends are - the magazine looks lovely to me as well.
I have another biggish birthday coming up next month so we aren't far apart!
Maybe we should do another postcard swap - let me know your thoughts?
Love

Hello namemate!!!!! It's been a while since I visited. Apologies :( Truth is, I haven't been blog hopping for a number of years already. I sent the card too late haha It was initially intended as a Xmas / New Year card. Nevertheless, I'm happy that it arrived. Thank you for still remembering me. You are still a consistent and prolific blogger / photographer. Wishing you a great week ahead!
